I don't really understand why this black friday thing has spread outside of the US. Like Halloween or other things.
Have a bump!

"If it works in the US, it must work here as well!" Then they proceed to promote €20 off as a great deal (at least some do that here in NL). People just tend to buy more when it's on 'sale'.
Now and then they do have a nice sale, but I saw that most interesting things are even cheaper in Germany (as always) xD

Yes, sales work, I simply don't see why they should do the same sale here. It's not like people will run in the US and spend their money there.
It makes some sense for online stores selling digital products, like Steam and the like. But I don't really see a good reason for regular stores to do it, besides emulating everything coming from the US (as usual).

I don't celebrate Thanksgiving either, and I keep away from the Black Friday crazy as I think it doesn't belong here. Thank you for the train, though.

My sister often makes some kind of "Carrot Souffle"
I live in America, so Black Friday takes place, but my family and I don't participate. It's not at all worth it for the most part, especially since you hear like at least one story a year of somebody getting trampled...
By the way, I haven't been on in a while. I think I just now realized that the "Invite Only" tag actually just means it's a link only deal.
For some reason I'd been going to train things like this looking at them like "Aww man, another Invite Only one? Guess I can't join that."
I'm an idiot.

Heya! I actually don't celebrate Thanksgiving and we don't have those crazy Black Friday scenarios that happen on the other side of the ocean, but I thought it would be nice to make a 'small' train for the occassion. I mean, Black Friday got us Dutchies some nice online deals in the big (online) stores and on Steam so I sure as hell appreciate that!
Train is for all people of level 1 and up and consists of 53 (if I counted correctly) carefully chosen wagons all from previous HB bundles, so spend your points wisely ;)
Enter here.
Train ends 27 Nov 7pm CET also known as Cyber Monday (?)
Instead of a bump, what's your favourite Thanksgiving recipe?
And if you're going to join the chaos called Black Friday, what are you hoping to get?And did you get anything this Black Friday (through Cyber Monday) ?
Also, Black Friday in the UK seems tense:
