Well I don't celebrate Thanksgiving either, but I think nowdays stores everywhere have something like Black Friday (everything that makes people buy stuff is good for them I guess).

Yeah, I held off on getting that Wii U because I thought they might do something even better when what would become BotW came out. Then when that game was announced to be for the Switch also I thought they'd do something for it there and that the system would be backwards compatible with the Wii U anyway. Now none of that happened and I wish I got that Wii U. I was surprised they didn't make a Zelda Switch since they did one for Splatoon, so maybe they never will...

Perhaps they'll come later with a LoZ special edition, although not very likely anymore. Also, I somewhere read that they were working on backwards compatibility for some games. But that was already some time ago and I don't know how reliable that source is/was.
And don't they sell secondhand LoZ-themed WiiU's near you? A couple of weeks ago I was in a secondhand store specifically for games and movies and I saw one for sale there.

Yeah, I'm still expecting some sort of "backwards compatibility" for at least some games, but it will probably be for a fairly select few, especially since some require that tablet controller. I could get it secondhand and may some day, but I'd much rather have a new one and would have gotten it if I knew things would turn out this way. I remember Nintendo even apparently found some unsold stock long after the Zelda Wii U had originally been sold and they put them up for sale directly from them but I passed, thinking they would do something better for the epic, long-awaited new Zelda game.

Heya! I actually don't celebrate Thanksgiving and we don't have those crazy Black Friday scenarios that happen on the other side of the ocean, but I thought it would be nice to make a 'small' train for the occassion. I mean, Black Friday got us Dutchies some nice online deals in the big (online) stores and on Steam so I sure as hell appreciate that!
Train is for all people of level 1 and up and consists of 53 (if I counted correctly) carefully chosen wagons all from previous HB bundles, so spend your points wisely ;)
