Should those games on Tremor be considered free and added to the list?
Not just pillars of eternity
you can get every game on the steam store for free via

if it worked they would be out of business already , and hacking the games there wont really get you much coins anyways

It was a pretty limited quantity and required work to get the game. It required more work than I was willing to put in and I am interested in playing the game. I don't think people will be farming copies to give away for free. I don't think it should go on the list.
I also don't have any problem with people giving these games away since they did pay for it. Whether you work somewhere else and then buy the game with the money you earned or work for Tremor Games and then buy the game, there isn't much of a difference. They probably even spent more time "working" at Tremor Games to get the game than it would of taken them working a real job to get the money.
Edit: I just went to the steam page for the game and it says I already own it. I guess that's what happens when you have almost 600 games. I even searched my game list on my steam profile earlier for the game and I didn't find it. Glad I didn't try and get it through Tremor Games, lol.

You need to complete tasks earning you a total of 50 coins to claim it. Technically, it could be considered free. However, wouldn't that mean that any games redeemed on Tremorgames would be considered "free" if that were the case?
So no, I don't think it should be considered a free game.

Whats up with all these ethical worries lately?
When someone gets called out for ratio and say he can't give away games, multiple people will jump on him saying "you can get them on Tremorgames, there is no excuse!". And I mean, if he does it, this person is doing a work that you could do as well. And they are giving it away, so they are sparing your time - and your money! They are using their time in benefit of others!
Lately whenever I have free time and I'm watching streams and not playing any game, I play Tremorgames for achievements (there are even some cool ones, but sometimes they are so bad its a pain in the ass to play), lets say I play it for 20, 40min in one day, and in a week I play 4h of Tremorgames. For that I can get in average 3-4 games, all tier 1 bundled games mostly. So I'm basically being paid $1 for 4 hours of "work". I can get more if I sell lemonade on the street for 10 minutes.
Also, if we complain about Tremorgames, what about Cixsense? Doing surveys for real PayPal $$? I can get like $16-$20 per month for the quantity of offers to my region, and I usually spend 7h per month doing by replying to those surveys and like 10 min everyday on the website watching ads while I have some stream going on second monitor. All this money goes to bundles. Is this free money?
I could not do anything of this in my free time. It would be better for me, I could enjoy more my free time.
By that logic, we could jump the shark and say that almost anything you do in your free time that rewards you with money that can be used to buy games is a way to exploit it.
I mean, if its a virtual currency or digital currency, anything that requires time, effort and tasks is work.
When someone rewards you for an action that does take a considerable amount of effort, you're not getting anything not free. Time is perhaps the most valuable asset we all have. It is our distribution of our time that decides how we get "rewarded" in life. You can use all your time to watch Netflix and chill, now tell me if you will get any reward for that. You can use it to study in order to improve your professional career, you will "lose" some time now, but will be better rewarded in the future. You can be a freelancer and use your talents to work by yourself, by doing something other people don't know how to do, don't have time or don't want to .You can listen to music in your free time, but you can also be a music journalist and turn that into a profession.
There is always someone out there looking to pay people to do things. Sometimes you will get rewarded for something you like to do (lets say, playing a good Tremorgames game), other times, for something you don't like at all to do (doing surveys).
Whatever you get for the free time you spend, and you are spending it time in benefit of others by using it to get games to give away, its only good for SteamGifts imho. If the person is doing for CV, whatever, then its a win-win! He gets his beloved CV, and other people get a game, yay! Of course, if the "actions" can be done in seconds like Gleam.io giveaways, I agree, remove it from the website. And even the value you're providing (social media following value) can be exploited with fake accounts.
But I mean. What is so wrong? Why are you so worried? What feelings you have towards the people that do this? Do you think they are exploiting? Do you think they are "avoiding" paying for games while you are paying with your salary? This is what I don't understand. And this is not a rhetorical question, I want to know, to see if I can understand or view it in the same way as you do. Because I do it and I don't feel like I'm doing anything wrong. Is there some moral value I'm missing here? Because if there is I want to understand.

apparently to some people you aren't really "working" , so yeah they think you are just there getting some free games and giving them away here

I respect everyone's opinion. Just wanted to explain why I don't feel bad about it and why I don't think I'm exploiting anything.
So even if they still don't agree with it, they can at least trust my good intentions.

I don't care about the CV-Points but the "game" is good and the soundtrack even better.

I have detected some leecher-users that have increase a lot their SG level without expending a cent in anything...
some months ago a level 3/4 GA usually was a good point to clean problematic users, nowadays its 7/8 or more.... I think it's very unfair to other non-tremor users who are going to be side-damaged at least in my GA's.
I know that some users are xploiting to win tremor games with not effort afk....
Sooner or later that will finish in a mayor problem for the SG levels....

I got alot of stuff i given away from Tremogames too, but i earned every coin by doing alot of surveys and tasks, and yes there are people there exploiting it, but how will you prove it?
It's gonna be hard, especially if they don't even use the same usernames.
Comment has been collapsed.
for me it's the same case of the bundled games, some people could say "how do you prove it it is from a bundle and not a full price game?".
This is for a better health of SG.
Comment has been collapsed.
But a decision has been made as long as it been added to the bundled list and whoever gives something can accept and get the fact they gonna get bundled cv.
People in your view that give away anything from Tremogames, basically are all potential scammers or exploiters, is how it comes across.
It makes SG actually more nasty with such views to be honest, it's like guilty until proven innocent, nor is setting giveaways to level 7+ only setting a good healthy environment, it making something elitist.
Comment has been collapsed.
When you have to ask for 20 rerolls the same day because that kind of users don't care at all you have to do something.
I don't make GA to give games to people who don't make me loose my time.
It's not elitism, is that or close my SG account and stop giving away games.
Comment has been collapsed.
I done over 300 giveaways, while it being true there tend to be more issues setting it at level 0 or 1, setting it to as low as 2+ or higher i never had any problems.
You choosen to do alot of giveaways, that also automatically does increase your chances on something going wrong eventually.
Noone is forcing you to giveaway things in the end, it is your choice to set giveaways how you want, but you made a statement about something else.
I kinda fail to see a point here why blame every single Tremorgames users for anything though.
So many that use Tremorgames and it being their only way of gifting rather then nothing at all.
Comment has been collapsed.
I had told you my reasons, if you ignore that... well, i'd tried
No one is forcing me to do GA's, yes, and I could tell: be careful SG community, tremors exploiting users are going to kill the reason to make GA here of some of the users that give a lot, because someday we are going to say enough, and no more GA's here. Sooner or later...
Comment has been collapsed.
Don't take offense in it, it isn't about ignoring it, but i really don't the see "reasons" except saying Tremorgames users are basically "bad", and with the second line it's even sounding a bit paranoid.
We are talking about a handful of exploiters there, a handful and it's a valid enough reason to ban all Tremorgames users? which again can't work because how on earth will you go there? a key doesn't say where it comes from.
Also those who honestly earned their ways on Tremorgames, gift stuff, we rather not have that anymore either then all those people that don't even gift something at all? mkay.
There does not seem to be a point in discussing it further, just agree to disagree here.
Comment has been collapsed.
For now yes, but tremor users sooner or later are going to be lvl 7 and then....
Comment has been collapsed.
There are people that really exploit Tremorgames big time, they could easily get to big levels probably, but my guess it's just a handful, what Ertitoagus says is just lets find a way to stop all people that use Tremorgames. which is impossible because a key doesn't say where it is coming from.

So, what this post is debating is something like "If you do tasks for Clixsense and buy a game from steam or from a bundle, whatever, and giveaway it on steamgifts, it's ok; but if you do the same tasks for tremor and buy a game there to giveaway on steamgifts it's not ok!?"
Are you not talking of the same thing here? What's the problem?

Why Tremor Games cant be used in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but yet I see people from my country register and use it without proxy...whats the catch? :)
Comment has been collapsed.
Yes, you can get free bundle games in tremor but to get them you need to earn coins and to earn them you need to do tasks, play games or respond to surveys... It takes time and time is money as simple as that. The tasks are like somekind of a small job and it takes time and effort to finish them. It's funny how some users who can afford buying triple AAA games are whining of users that gives less than they get. The purpose of this site is to give games to users that can't afford them. Nobody is forced to do giveaways, level them up or just don't do it. The drama...

Doing a 20-30 minute survey or other tasks that take minutes a time or a second for a like on facebook, that is not really the same.
Both might take time, but with Tremor you "work" for coins, which are in ways a currency like any other, you can spend it on games, heck even amazon or domino pizza gift cards, those facebook/joining (gleam.io) are usually instant wins.

Not everyone has a Tremorgames account, nor does everyone can just get 50 coins, but on the other hand the last one seemed to be added to the list, just opened up a whole discussion trying to give something away.
So how is the current state on it?
Note there are only 1000 copies.
