My non plus ultra favorite band is Machinae Supremacy.
They offer lots of their stuff for free, so you can check out out easily:
Their download page has 3 free "webography" albums, and their first studio album is downloadable for free now, too. They also offer a torrent of their live performance at Assembly 2011 (all approved and legal), of which you can watch some on youtube.
You can also listen to 3 of the songs from their newest album, A View From The End Of The World for free.
They also made the soundtrack of Jets 'N' Guns. (Still hoping that JNG Gold will at some point hit Steam)

Also among my top favorite bands are: Hammerfall, Korpiklaani, Schandmaul. I also used to listen to Punkrock (Bad Religion, Sum 41, The Offspring), and I find Daft Punk's album Discovery to be fantastic.

PS: I'm enjoying Ronald Jenkees' tracks in the OP so far, I wonder what kind of music influences him. "Throwing Fire" reminds me of the Soundtrack to the indiegame Iji, too.
