(IM NEW) hows making a giveaway with a gift item work ?

after winning the giveaway forgot to add that

If game is a key you can put the key on the "key" option, second option valid for keys or gifts, you can add winner and give him the game, and third for both too, is sending game by email.

There are a few different options for getting a winner of your giveaway the game they won.

One is using a Steam key and including it or many, depending if there are multiple copies to be won, when you first create the giveaway.
This can also be done after the winner is selected. But only for a single winner. Multiple would need to be added in prior.
You can also add in a humble gift link, although there needs to be some editing to the URL, I am not sure the specifics of that.
You may also use a giftable game from your Steam inventory and either email the winner, or add them on Steam and send it that way.

There are other ways to get the job done I am sure.
But I must get back to my game, it is paused, and its music is calling me back to it.
