It really depends by the subreddit.
r/steam, for example, is totally populated by fanboy, can't blame reddit for that, gotta blame those "Lord Gaben, light of my life"

It's just a game and it is just an online forum, don't make it your life. Get over it and join some other forum if you are a couch potato, or go outside, feel the sun and enjoy the day. These are not the things or reasons to waste your time and energy on.

Seeing I did get banned for not activating really just ticked me off, because I was outside, as far I know, I can't redeem keys on mobile..

That's kind of a poor choice of words. It sounds like you're not going to activate it, so I can see the confusion. If you would just have stated immediatly that you're not on a pc (or wouldn't have said anything and thanked him after you activated), it would probably have gone differently.
But I agree with the other people here. No reason to feel bad or get worked up because of some immature people on reddit. Don't get me wrong, reddit can be amazing (the only one I use is r/totalwar though). You just need to filter out the crap users for yourself. On r/totalwar there is someone that always gets downvoted immediatly because of his behaviour and people now just ignore him. (And the voting system just sucks. Fanboys downvoting people that have concerns about the games and hater downvoting people that enjoy the games...)

There is nothing to be ashamed of in getting stuff from raog or any similar sub , also as far as I recall rules don't state you need t activate the game , unless they changed them.
Getting banned cause you told op you are not activating the game right away seems like excessive, tho based on how yu keep mentioning poor English, maybe you didn't explain yourself to well?
It could all have been a misunderstanding... try contacting the sub mods they are actually reasonable people.
On a side note it may have been that nazi mod that banned me that ban you ...

I posted on dungeon defenders sub , in some random topic bout some sick play a guy made.

It was a post on front page of /r/all so I just click it out of curiosity ..
Couple hours later a guy adds me on steam and gifts me dungeon defenders collection. And then removes me...I'm like wtf is happening?
Next day I check Reddit and I see q reply to my comment it would be a shame to wait that long to have fun now
So the op saw my list bought me a copy and gifts it to me ... coolest thing ever.
So I reply to thank him , explaining I'm join and if he want to play together mby.
An hour later I get msg that Im permanently banned from raog . Reasoning is not allowed.
I'm like sitting there thinking wtf I haven't even been to that sub before.
So I contact the mods asking wtf?
And that dickheqd links me a giveaway topic and permalink to my lost on the dungeon defenders video .
Turns out the guy who gave me the game had a giveaway for it running , but canceled it cause he gave it to me.
Ans that nazi banned me for that lol .
TLDR Reddit can be cancer don't let it get to you you did nothing wrong!

on /r/killingfloor, I asked if someone would like to trade for my game a copy of Killing Floor, which was on sale for cheep, but then someone gifted it to me, and I said thanks...then I got banned a day(?) later...Didn't dispute that, because I believed I was in the wrong...I think?

/r/raog rules state not to farm games, I've always redeemed the games I won..(i.e. Splinter cell blacklist, far cry 3...that's about it) They just banned me for 14 days, I sent screenshot but in the end the 14 day ban remained...that just stung, it feels wrong, but I'm starting to even doubt myself, my exact words were: "I'll be keeping the key on hand for a while, if that's okay with you :) Thanks for the game! :D"
After he said: "Eh, what do you mean you will keep the key on hand? I'm pretty sure that's against the rules."
I said: "I won't be on Steam for a little while, I have some papers to fix and some family issues to attend to, but I'll redeem the key asap :)"
He stopped contacting me after that...5 hours later I got a ban :(

Reddit, like every other forum on the internet, has it's downsides.
There are lots of good people as there are lots of scum. Don't let them get to you!

I'd say not your fault in the first one, just someone being insanely impatient and petty. Try not to worry about it, people are like that.
I'm not entirely sure what happened in the second one. Are you not allowed to ask people to play with you on Reddit..? Is that why you were banned? Seems like a stupid rule if that's the case, but then you were probably at fault there.

I guess I was banned for "begging" for someone to trade with me(?) I didn't get a reason with the ban message, and frankly the game was on sale and was just about lower for the game I wanted to trade with...I guess someone just got pissed off?

Welp, if you use Reddit, you probably know about /r/randomactsofgaming and /r/killingfloor.
Well I just got banned from both, one is temporary though.
Thing #1: on /r/randomactsofgaming I won a giveaway, rules state that "You may not farm games". My interpretation is "If you win, you redeem, it's your and yours alone unless OP is okay with picking another winner etc.".
Well, I was out and about on Reddit Mobile [helping my parents with...stuff, I won't turn this into a pity story, let's just agree it wan't anything to smile about] and saw I won, I thanked OP and sent him thanks and that I would be keeping the key on hand for a while. Well, he got kinda ticked off and I explained I was away from the computer, but that I would redeem ASAP. Well, next thing I know, 5 hours later I get a ban for 14 days. Honestly want some opinion here, was I in the wrong? I redeemed the key right afterwards I got home, if you go check my profile, you can see the most recent game other than Killing Floor...which leads me to my next screw up...
Thing #2: I, being the poor scum I am, went for a leap seeing if anyone on /r/killingfloor wanted to trade Omikron The Nomad Soul for a $3.99 copy of Killing Floor [read, poor student begging on a subreddit] a kind soul, gifted me a copy of Killing Floor (and where ever you are, I personally bless you, kind sir/madam, it made my day) next post, someone bashed me, okay, joke comment of "ty, I love you too, thanks for your concern <3", he then got a little hostile, okay, whatever, not important. after thursday passes, friday, now at 10PM at night, here I am, I just saw I got a permanent ban on /r/killingfloor....goodbye "come play with me thread" I was going to post...at least one guy added me to play, I kinda feel like we can be good friends, but I told him all of what you just read so...maybe I just f-ed it up..
Am I in the total wrong for all of this? I understand why Thing #2 would ban me, but, it's a really social game a multiplayer game and I've done this on [2] other singleplayer game subreddits, with just some snide comments and not even temporary bans. It was basically just a bad idea, I guess I understand that now, but now I won't be able to post on the one subreddit to play with people on the game I really like now. But for #1?Was it me or..? hell if I know by now.
