Plague Inc: Evolved
Wislisted since Feb 28 2015
There are many games on my wishlist that I am "only kinda interested" but that I want to check on now and then. This is one of those games. I guess during the steam sales I decided to buy other games instead if I was more immediately excited for them. Also the discounts for Plague Inc only rarely get better. The discount has been 60% since April 2018 for every single sale.

Binding of Isaac Rebirth since 2014 because I full cleared the original so it would have to go on sale very cheap to be worth it.
Starbound would be since it first came out if I hadn't accidentally removed it at some point. Terraria is my most played game on Steam but mixed reviews for Starbound and hearing about linearity left me divided. Decided to get it when there's a big discount. But I've never seen it on a big discount.
Exanima since 2017. It's early access and probably will be for a long time because of slow updates. I'd still get it and play it right now if it went on sale low enough. But I think the most I've seen is 10% off.

Or through the gamers curse, the week after you buy the complete pack, the Ultimate Collection pack will release and it'll be half the cost, but to get the new content on its own will be the same price you paid for the game in the first place. \:3/

Mine is VA-11 Hall-A:Cyberpunk Bartender Action since pretty much its release in 2016.
Aside from having to go through a decent sized backlog before playing it,I'm not willing to pay more than 10€ for it but it never gets discounted more than 33% even during the big summer and Christmas sales.

There are over 600 games on my wishlist and XCOM2 has been there longest, it's there from 2015. First i waited for discounts but then i never beated the first XCOM, i dropped it, so i guess awesome as it is, not exactly my kind of game, right now there are so many games i'd rather play and buy instead and there's more every month. Still maybe someday i'll buy and play it😀
Only 3 games left on my wishlist that i added in 2015, its Xenonauts, Underrail and The Quest.
From 2016 there's also Torment: Tides of Numenera and Cave Story+. The rest is 2017+
Cheers!😀

Mine actually surprised me and is kind of embarrassing since it's the (second) cheapest game from my wishlist...
Uprising44: The Silent Shadows since 2014
Never took the plunge because of the overall negative reviews, but I also haven't gotten around to fully "giving up" on the idea of trying the game out one day anyway.

That's probably when I'd finally get it, but so far I've not seen/missed any bundles that may have had it.

Dear Esther (since 27.02.2013), the original Source-masterpiece. Not available for purchase for almost 4 years, but can be found at resellers. What can I say? It's just not in a prioritate position in my quenue of thousands potential playable games....
As for GTA V. I don't think they'll lower standart 50% discount before release of GTA VI (milk-milk!). Bought it myself once it was -67% off (and it was only once!) 2,5 years ago - and it was priced even higher for my regional price at sales for all that time!
As for "not good enough sales". Gaben and others just developed in customers -75%+-mania. Yep, I trapped into it myself - you "risk" your years of life to not "loose" extra money. But it's all about what is more important from your point of view - time of waiting or amount of money. Because I can smile that somebody "loose" $50 in 2013 cause I bought it for $10 in 2018 or I can cry cause I "wasted" $2 for not yet beaten game that became free 2 years later.
So, in conclusion, buy when you feel that it's time to play it - and don't look back and beyond!

Haha, most of it is true but my backlog is already HUGE! I mean, even if I don't buy a single game from today, I'll play a new SP game every few days till I'm 60 (Well, Time is scarce).
And I'm the patient one (Played Witcher 3 after 5 years for example) so it'll be OK.
Though, I'm more paranoid about the games I buy which wounds up in the bundle next month...

After this sale, the oldest game on my wishlist is "Stonehearth" - since September 2016.
I played it in Early Access, and I liked the game, but there were very big problems with optimization - you couldn't get more than 16-18 villagers, any computer started to slow down and lag a lot.
Besides that, there was very little content. New items and improvements were added very slowly. Therefore, the game was too expensive for what was offered at that price.
Now the game seems to be abandoned, people write that only modders continue to work on it.

Same here. I have added Stonehearth to my wishlist back in November 2015.
Never seen it on discount after leaving the Early Access phase. Too bad to hear that the devs obviously are no longer working on it...

Rogue Legacy
Have been on my wishlist since june 2013
First it was a bit expansive for me, now it has been really cheap to be honest but I am just delaying it for no reason :3

Yes I still remember hearing some good stuff about it in a podcast since 2013 :D

Honestly it's not as good as you might expect. Here's my notes from when I played it:
The Good:
+Interesting idea where each time you die your descendant, with a random physical issue, takes over to carry on your 'legacy'.
+Decent pixel art (though they use non-pixel art randomly...so, a bit inconsistent in that way...).
The Bad:
-Enemies can shoot you from off screen
-Noticeable delay between pressing attack button and character actually swinging sword.
-Short range enemies are not stunned by attacks at all. This means if you attack a sword wielding enemy unless your swing kills them they can hurt you right back in that same instant.
-Turning left/right does not immediately change sword direction, so while you may turn to face enemy in one direction your sword swing will happen in the other direction.
-Downward sword attack is nearly useless because the sword does not stay in that direction for more then half a second, requiring near-perfect timing to make it useful.
-Due to the issues with downward attacks, chasms which require platforms to be activated by it are significantly harder to pass then they should be.
-There is no upward attack?
-Blocking attacks with a shield uses MP continuously, wtf?
~Upgrades/weapons/armor/accessories/etc. are used as band aids for poor game design.

I see, thanks for the info which I am gonna take in my mind
So control problems in general

I was absolutely addicted to the game for a couple weeks when I played back in...dang...2013!! I'd say it's definitely worth picking up still on a sale!
The first 40 mins or so I remember wondering if I'd made a mistake, as I was struggling with getting the hang of the controls and died an absurd amount. But it became much smoother sailing after that and was a blast. Has some grindiness for sure, but the progression & seeing improvement all speeds things up/becomes a lot easier with experience and learning from your trial/error. If not there's always Rogue Legacy 2 to wait for? :)

Eastshade is my oldest, from February 2019. I keep my wishlist regularly updated, thinking carefully about whether or not I would enjoy a game and if I would spend money on it or not, that's why everything on the list is pretty fresh. Expect that game. It has been constantly stuck in this limbo of being a game I would pay for, that I feel that I would enjoy, but never becoming a priority before buying other games I would enjoy too.

It took me about 15 hours to beat, so probably not possible to do it in 3 hours unless you're speed running and know everything about it already.

Yeah, idk why i think of that tbh. But nowadays it's just not as interesting as it used to be ao i didn't prioritize on getting it.

I'll start with mine: https://i.imgur.com/xyeqjBZ.png
GTA V - Added on Dec 6th, 2014 - Still not purchased because, No Regional Pricing and not good enough sales.
It was free on Ep!c and I did claim it but the "launcher" is too clunky to use, there are no achievements and I generally dislike their practices so haven't played yet.
Waiting for 75% or more discount.
Edit: Some awesome games guys! Keep it coming and someone will find something interesting to add in the wishlist (Like my wishlist where I add everything remotely interesting)
