Oh, it's federal, now that's a common thing at Walmart!

I've seen some of your videos before. I remember you asking "Do you want to hold my hand?" a bunch of times, it was so funny. XD
I'm going to have to watch this later for sure. I'm already subscribed, but I'm not on Youtube that often.

It continues to surprise me that people actually fall for it, yet I've witnessed on two separate occasions (there were more based off coworkers' stories, just not during my shifts) customers actually falling for it this year when I was still in retail (post office/merchandiser).
1) During my shift in the post office, an Indian woman came up, wanting to send a MoneyGram of around ~$1500-2000. During this period of time, there was a rise in scams being done so we received a notice to ask questions whether the person knows who they're sending the money to (plus you always need to state the purpose of the funds if it's over $1000). It seemed suspicious, but she was incredibly insistent that it was a family member and rudely stated to just do my job. Literally five minutes after the transaction was over, she came back crying with her husband, who was visibly angry. Turns out they received some phone call threatening that they would be deported back to India unless they "paid the Canadian government" and she ran off to do just that. Confusing part is, she was sending the money to someone in the U.S.A, which makes no sense from a logical perspective as to why the Canadian government would be set up in a different country. Of course, there was nothing I could do at that point except for redirecting them to the local authorities as she immediately gave the scammers the reference number (she was on call, with her phone hiding in her purse, as they don't allow you to hang up the phone).
2) Our cash registers are near the windows and one of the customers noticed that a couple of people were surrounding his car. He came in to buy around $1000 worth of iTunes cards but there was some issue with the system/card that was delaying the transaction (I wasn't the cashier, so I'm not sure what the hold up was). However, he had left his two young children in the car, who were screaming, and it had attracted attention in the parking lot. He ran outside before the transaction could be processed, since the two women outside looked ready to break the windows of the car. My supervisor went outside as well and told us afterwards what it was all about. It turns out that one of them was a police officer that was off duty, and he was explaining the situation to her about being shaken up, having received a phone call about needing to pay the IRS or else he'd be jailed. He was a single father and he didn't want his kids taken away, so he quickly drove to the store. His kids had fallen asleep, so he left them inside (it wasn't hot outside or anything), since he could watch the car from the windows. The police officer ended up explaining that he had almost fallen victim to a common IRS scam and they left shortly afterwards. So in a weird way, it's a good thing he left them there, otherwise he would've lost that money.
As for your video, good job! Delaying them could prevent someone else from falling victim. The scammer couldn't even stop himself from laughing, constantly repeating that name. And 10/10 for those sound effects!

Thanks for watching and the good insight.
There needs to be awareness that these scams do unfortunately work!
Thanks again!

I was hoping you were giving away iTunes cards... $11,780 worth to be exact. :)

I already own the game in the giveaway, but I watched the video, regardless. That's some pretty good quality you have there! I'm surprised you don't have more subs! Well, you have another one from me now, dude! Lol, good job.

That, and the U.S. legal system is powerless being that they're in another country. Other countries like Mexico and China are starting to get in on it.

I know its like those Nigerian princess stories. The worst thing is 90% of these scammers are based in my city confined to a certain portion but its extremely hard to catch them as they are carried out using multiple vpn. Two or three months back a group was caught as they had evolved to a business having around 100 employees working 24 x 7 on multiple terminals. So you can understand how such scams are carried out.
