Because our currency is dumb and has too many zeros compared to USD. Some people who set the price try to be clever but instead they mess up everything. People should really use default Steam recommendation for pricing.

Do you know - by any chance - if the key is limited to the Indonesian/SEA region or if it's a global one?

it's not a key, the glitch is in the steam store itself. and yes, it would be restricted, even if you could use VPN to buy it yourself (which you can't).

well, he could buy it as a gift ... that's what I meant with key.

And yea, totally forgot that the steam stores are locked to your region, no matter from where you log in

Steam gifts also can't be stored in inventory anymore. So he would have to send you the gift directly. You would have to accept with active VPN. And you also would need VPN to play it (at least for 90 days). I wouldn't recommend it. :)

Oh really? Never heard about the last part oô - I know about the activating part.. but having to use VPN to play it was new to me.

Here in Germany many gamers know about this because this is the way to get uncut versions of Wolfenstein etc. Activate the game via VPN and then either play with VPN (again, would not recommend doing that) or wait 90 days. After that the region lock will vanish.
