Listen carefully, Gaben has a library so massive it shakes the server farm when it loads, so vast it bleeds internets dry when it patches. But... you are willingly REMOVING games from your library? This is BLASPHEMY!! This is MADNESS!! :O

if you hide those games you dont buy them again accidently (or just because you forgot you played it allready and not liked), because you see it allready owned by you. Most simple reason why i wouldnt do the same, but it was your decision, so if you happy about, then gratz!:-)

And in your case a bundle game is worth $60!

Glad to see you around :]

never would do that - more games = more xp, more potential card drops coming in the future to games that dn't have cards yet, better chances on booster packs from games that already has cards, getting free coupons for games already owned, there was also playfire rewards - maybe sth like that will come in the future as well - the bigger library the bigger various chances you get. Losing it because hiding games was too much hassle? naah :D:

I only removed about 30 games, but then again, I don't even have 300 altogether. So, on a much smaller scale, but I can relate.
By the way, I hope you know that even though it was a removal operation, since it was completed as a refund ticket, you will now get hit with the "cards won't drop until you pass the two-hour mark" effect, if you ever want to get cards from some really short game.

I know it is not a refund, the guy/gal who did this to the account knows it, but the system still sees a completed refund ticket, regardless if you get a single cent or not. So I just guessed I'd tell you. :)

It happens on an incomplete refund ticket as well.
If you've ever sent one in, accepted or refused, it counts. -.-

You guys think it's possible to reset all achievements and playtime for all games but a few?

I only asked support to remove 1 of my games, and they did it within a week =)

The game was Hitman Sniper Challenge, that some may remember as a freebie on a Korean website. The game activated and played just fine ... however a few days later the game became region locked.

Another few days later, Square Enix had a Hitman Sniper Challenge giveaway for German users. But the key could not be activated, because the game was already in my library :D

One would assume that different versions would register with different APP IDs ... this was not the case, don't ask me why.

Well, after support removed the Korean version, the German key could be activated.

Hooray \o/

I personall only display my installed games in the client, so I'm agree with others that such drastic and final methods as removing the games would not have been necessary if you didn't want to see them again.

If you know for sure you, and anyone else who may use your account, will never play the game, and you've no interest in things like Steam leveling, then there's no reason NOT to remove the game, other than not wanting to put in a bit more effort.

For some of us, the effort involved in that is pretty minor, since it comes to us as a more intuitive 'cleaning house' process.

And of course, for some people, it just bugs the crap out of them to have a trash game showing up in their library.

It's not necessarily a 'more extreme' reaction, but rather, usually just a different one :)

For me, since I'm very careful on what I activate, the only games I don't care about that go into my library are ones from combined keys [which I can't remove anyway, because of that element], or blind developer or forum keydrops.

If I get a particularly ugly key, then I will make a point of removing it, since it does still needlessly clutter up things like 'Mutually owned games' searches.

Sadly most crap I have came from bundle packs, so I'm not able to delete them while leaving good games with me.

Wait so if you have a Steam key for a game and use the Steam key, then hate the game and ask Steam to remove it from your library, can that Steam key be used again?
