Going with the theme from my last topic, I want to know now what the most disturbing game you ever played was.

For ANY reason.

Aliens Colonial Marines. And that's because the only disturbing thing about it was the price I paid for it.

Soldier of fortune series because of how violent the game is and at its time.
Dead space of course, a needle to the eye
Mortal kombat which im not sure if i would say disturbing but the fatalities are graphic asf like skin ripping etc.
Hatred where u just go around mass murdering but game gets boring for some.
Mafia 3 i mean if u seen the executions with the knife then u get the idea hihi.
Dead rising because i remember some of the boss fights and damn its just murdering zombies in gruesome ways that u can think off.
Outlast as people mentioned because i can agree 100% the finger scene was gruesome just like out of snuff film.
Agony which is another horror game i heard its disturbing but i have not played myself just saw like images.
Gears of war series god i remember playing the multiplayer for this game i think gears of war 3 back then and the lancer rifle which has a chainsaw bzzzzz.
I would like to mention more but honestly all i can say is that from what i played these games i found to be disturbing in some way.

Layers of Fear.

Not that I found the content too disturbing, just the visual effects in a lot of scenes made me slightly nauseous. I could easily see it triggering seizures in someone prone to that sort of thing.

Alien Isolation. That creepy alien managed to get me only twice though because i was faster hitting escape and closing the game...needless to say i never finished it. Man so much realism...

Several relatively early Flash games and interactive videos.
I don't remember the names of all of them, and don't know if all of them even exist online anymore. There was one in particular that has stuck in my mind as one of the most disturbing experiences in my life, but I could never find it again, nor do I wish to.

Yet another vote for Harvester. There's a chance that I've played theoretically more disturbing games since then, but I was older and not so impressionable.
Also, those who've played Legend classics John Saul's Blackstone Chronicles might remember a cellar with a little boy's ghost who's physically present as organs in formaldehyde jars (these organs were sequentially removed from his body to "cure" his habit to play dolls). I was maybe 13 when I played it, and, well, this stuff was not only sad but also pretty shocking for me.

I'd say Alice: Madness Returns for the deep psychological aspect of the game, and how mind clashes with reality. It's something that real people go through and is represented strongly in the game.
It's not visually disturbing for me but it sure has disturbing imagery for some people.

Maybe it's weird but Oxenfree. For some reason I couldn't get over it for long time. I think I even had nightmares.

I started to play Blood: Fresh Supply today and some things are a little disturbing.
And this thread reminded to play Tormentum - Dark Sorrow which has been in my backlog for some time.

I felt so guilty when my(!) daughter died... I can't start the game again cuz of that trauma.

Disturbing, like... Water-Levels, in (classic) Sonic games ? :D

Half-joke aside, Most recently, maybe White Night ...As the ending really caught me off guard. °_°"

( Otherwise, maybe games like American's Mc Gee Alice, but not so much, as I used to be informed by it's own intentional creepy design, before. )

I'll edit, if I'll remember something else...

Resident Evil 6, it's so bad that it hurts :P
But for real the first Dead Space was creepy as fuck, have to finish it someday that I feel like suffering from too much stress.
Honorable mention to the Silent Hill Orphan trilogy, you do some freaky stuff to the dead bodies in order to progress in those games. I guess that's what happens when you turn the weirdness of SH into a puzzle-heavy adventure game.
