What you can do but wait for support to get back to you. I really hope some serious competition to Steam comes quickly. Their support system is fucking disgusting.

I have actually had better luck with EA support, even if it a bunch of worthless shits in India [not that Indians are worthless shits, merely the EA support staff in India].

I've had a few games removed from my account that I'd received from trading. In every case I received a notification from Steam stating why it had been removed. It seems incredibly odd that anything would simply vanish from your account without some kind of explanation. Also, in each case Steam reversed the original trade so I lost nothing overall. Since you traded for a key, then any kind of trade reversal would be impossible. This is why good traders rarely deal with keys... especially keys for such high value games. You're just asking to get screwed when you do.

Actually it happened to me once that my game disappeared without any notification, and it was Titan Attacks. Puppy Games gifted a game to everyone, but they said to take just one, and many people (probably most of them) managed to get multiple ones, so later they revoked all keys. People had to send a request again to get JUST ONE key and they got it.
But yeah the point was....no notification; as far as I know some games I should have can be disappeared now.

I think, they only disabled the keys from people who tried to get more than one game with the same mail-address. "...22,500 ”sales”, we’ve actually ended up with just 11,200 legitimate.."
A day later, they stated that "if you ordered more than one game, I have reactivated the first one you ordered".

Well the main thing was...we hadn't got any notification on Steam itself

Did you talk to the person you got it from?

You said high rep trader and there are only a few high rep traders in your rep page, myself included. I think it's pretty clear who you got the game from.

Thanks for posting those. What scares me is that I got my key from a Korean trader from that AMD promo... :/ I still have the game in my library but who knows for how long. I also own the Season Pass however, and that one was a Steam Gift copy, so I'm hoping they might not be able to just delete the base game because of this.

Why don't you just check the game in the Steam Store - if you still have it activated on your account it will show a green banner and say you already own it. Just re-download it. Otherwise keep asking Steam Support what the deal is.

Since you finished it, maybe you removed the game and all game files? I know when removing the games from you PC, some won't stay in your library...I think it depends on the option you choose for removing the game (i.e. all game files).

Actually, that depends on whether the game is F2P or not.

He is my friend, he told me that there is no green bar on the store, so he doesn't own the game.

I got mine from a friend for $45 (the pre-order before it was released). It was a steam gift rather than a key. I never trade for keys for this reason ever. The trader you are trading with might be legit but he could have gotten the key from an untrustworthy source.

the people that had theirs removed, did you trade for a bioshock key or did you get a never settle code ( XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX ) and redeem it using amd4u.com to have the bioshock key to your email first?

I did the latter and still have my game. I'm 90% sure I traded with the same person as OP.

It's one of the AMD never settle reloaded keys. I doubt the guy I got it from gave me an exploited key. He's 181 positive and 0 negative on steamtrades.

1) Ask support what happened to your game.
2) If they say that it is not their error but the scammed key - contact trader you got the key from.
3) If trader refuses to give refund/new key - report him on steam trades and steamrep (with the full description of situation, screen shots of the dialogues with support and trader)
