Ubisoft's ridiculously overpriced "Gold Edition"

What's stopping them to make even more money if gamers will buy their overpriced products. I'm all for exploiting stupidity.

OP, why are you surprised? Gamers keep buying their games. Why shouldn't Ubisoft do what it does? As long as gamers keep throwing their money at them, it will happen. Vote with your wallet.

I still haven't got Assassin's Creed III because of this, the Complete pack is 49.99 ;_;

Checked it. 80 Euros. For the game and the Season Pass. I see nothing bad with it. No, seriously, it's totally fine. The problem is the game. 60 Euros for the normal game. I want to pre-order it, but it's expensive. I do have the money (or actually I need 15 more Euros), but I don't know... I actually wanted one of the collector editions. Seems like I'll get it on sales. To be honest, the game does seem to worth the money, and 20 more Euros for the Season IS fine. If I recall correctly, the Season Pass for ACIV was 20 Euros as well, and you could get it cheaper if you were to get it automatically in the Gold Edition or buy it later with a 25% discount if you got the Digital Deluxe Edition. I just wish it was 40 Euros, I could at least buy that one. But it's still worth.

No achievmenyt, now preorder dlc (wasn't bad enough day 1 dlc?),a digital game without a demo can't cost as much as a retail version..this is absurd! and we want forget what they done to pc gamers with watch dogs?? ahhh how can we forget the shitty additional DRM Uplay required?? UBI is on the right wat to take the first place as worst company...worst then EA and Activision....i never preorder game, do us a favor and do the same...let these dogs fail...until they learn how to treat us..and set right prices for digital games..which cost less to them (no master, no delivery, and i must pay 60 euro for a digital pc game??) UBI i hope u'll fail.
