I do believe, my good sir, that when you spell "porn" with a 0 (zero), it should be spelled "pr0n"!

Good day, sir!

Well being in my final year of what Americans would call high school, for the second time, I'm doing Sociology, Maths and Performing Arts. Just a bunch of subjects with no relation to anything. But next year when I (hopefully) go university I'm doing Game Design

Aye, one tomorrow and one on the 16th (I think), second one being adv. computer graphics effects.
You probably won't. Object oriented programming languages are usually pretty similar, understand one language and you'll quickly understand another (and then it's just a question of getting the right syntax :P)

java, in my opinion, it's easier than c/c++. If c++ was easy then no problem with java :)

Currently researching video games & virtual worlds, game-based learning, and games/technology in the classroom.

Very interesting subject.
I did a project w.r.t. virtual worlds (and correlations to real worlds, with some Jean Baudrillard thrown in). And a buddy of mine is a teacher, who has decided to specialize himself into using technology (and games) in the classroom. :3

Awesome! That sounds really cool. Virtual worlds connecting to real life (connections, communities, etc.) is one of my main research interests. I'm hoping to eventually do my dissertation on EVE Online, but that's all preliminary ideas at the moment.

Your buddy is smart and I wish more teachers would do that. There's definitely a huge push for tech in the classroom, but nobody knows how to use it properly.

That's hilarious. My project was exactly on EVE Online!
Although, I did bring in some similarities with World of Warcraft, EVE just seems better suited.

Aye, indeed. Even at my university and in my department (Comp Sci) the amount of tech in the classrooms (and lectures etc) is embarrasing, and mainly amounts to Power Point slides!

Still studying now. Computer Science. It just seems unreal that I can spend so little time there and yet pay so much for it. I'm all for self-motivated learning but it's a joke haha.
