First Blacklist celebration!

I've only had a couple of blacklists (early on) that I even understood. Most blacklists have been done in a silent fashion for reasons completely unknown. I guess someone was upset that I gave too many games? lolz

Seriously, no idea most of the time. But, my whitelist rate is roughly 10X my blacklist rate, so I figure that some people are just picky pants and you can't make them happy no matter what. Blacklists are automatically two-way, and I average about 1.5 GAs per day, so I also figure that most of these people are just shooting themselves in the foot. 😆😎

Don't sweat it -- if someone isn't brave enough to explain their BL, they're probably not worth dealing with. They clearly didn't want to reach out and have a reasonable conversation first to resolve whatever was bothering them or understand why you did whatever upset them. I don't waste time on unreasonable people and you shouldn't either. All I can do is continue to be kind and participate in this community by giving back to the world, and that's what I plan to do. If some people are inexplicable haters, then: 乁( ◔ ౪◔)ㄏ

I only remember getting a blacklist for posting a topic celebrating my son's birthday with GAs. Not funny I'm afraid. I ignore blacklisting myself.

Everyday I get to enter lots of great giveaways (thanks for yours btw!) so I don't really pay attention to those I can't enter, for whatever reason. :-)

I apologized for not having someone on my WL (I said something like, "sorry I didn't have you on my WL, you should have been there already and I have fixed that now") ... I've been on that person's BL ever since. They are still on my WL though because why not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

How can you know how many times you've been blacklisted?

What did you do to earn it? I know where all but 3 of the 7 blacklists I'm on came from. One is a misunderstanding with a non-English speaker, and the others are petty reasons. I previously blacklisted people for re-gifting wins from a mass developer giveaway of a game I wanted. I cleared my blacklist a while back after noticing most of them have since received permanent suspensions or haven't been on in years, the others seem to have since become contributing members, so I just cleared the whole thing. The mods are quicker at dealing with rule breakers now, and I can't think of any other reason I would blacklist anyone.

Not sure if I find it funny, but I found one of the people who blacklisted me and I politely asked why. They responded that they couldn't remember why (fair enough) and removed me from their blacklist ... for about a day or two before they blacklisted me once again. I didn't ask why this time because I guess it was as unreasonable as the first time.
