I don't have a funny story but I have a weird one. There is someone out there who keeps blacklisting and unblacklsting me from time to time over the past few months (at least 5 or 6 times that I have noticed). I think I figured out who it is actually, but I am not 100% sure yet.

I'm not too active on the discussions and normally don't voice strong opinions so thankfully I maintain a low blacklist... but anyway yesterday I received a blacklist for creating a level 10 region restricted giveaway (like 95% sure it was for this...) but then I also earned a couple whitelist too so I think it evened out? Thanks for the giveaways/bump

55 black listed and 3 wl dont rly know why to much of black listed okay maybe i did something wrong somewhere but last its 10 october for what why,do people goin around and just black list for fun? :D

When you make invite only giveaways in the way of a list or a train that take longer than one week to end, it's interesting to see your BL go down; and when the giveaways have ended, going up again.

O yes, some do that, but with each train I catch one or a few of those and then they never do that again. ;D

I gave away Mafia 3 in the forum but it was restcited so it wasn't an official giveaway.
I noticed my blacklist went down a few but after it it went up. I ran a script over all the comments and someone reblacklisted me after it ended.

Fortunately they are not mainstream on SG but unfortunately they do exist. That's way I did ask in the official SG thread about the two-way blacklists if it could be that the duration of the two-way blacklists would be set at the maximum giveaway duration of 4 weeks.

don't worry about that. i have like 70, and i honestly don't care. luckily i have way more whitelist list entries, and i bet you have as well. so who cares. :)

I don't really have funniest blacklist story, 'cause I think I only once or twice found out who blacklisted me. I whitelisted the first person I found out about, it was in good old times when blacklist wasn't two-way.

I'm at an even 4 whitelists and 4 blacklists.
So, once upon a time, I got super lucky and won the same game in two separate giveaways within minutes of each other. I go and politely inform the guy I won the second one from of that happened and ask for a re-roll to give someone else the game. Turns out the latter of the two giveaways had multiple copies and a few other people had this same problem. The guy then went on a crazy tirade and starting blacklisting everyone who asked for a re-roll.

Funniest reason I was ever given was 'disrespecting users by making it inefficient for them to enter giveaways'. As always on this site, keep in mind that a bunch of people in this topic aren't being entirely honest...

I've been working in a cafeteria in a newly opened shopping center, lots of people came in and asked for free stuff, cause they thought that we were supposed to have at least something to give away for free. As soon as they found out that we don't have anything but discounts, they cursed us and left.... Guess you can't appreciate even a discount :P

And even when i did have people on my blacklist (like over half a year ago ,) i only EVER BL'ed people who BL'ed me first

In fact i can even prove it, if you were to unblacklist me for a moment and i'm able to look at one of your giveaways it would prove you haven't been on my BL for a while(because if you were it would say ' you cannot enter this user's giveaways because you have had them blacklisted for over a week' right?)
