First Blacklist celebration!

All my blacklists came in a two week period, and no one told me they were doing it, so I have no clue why I was blacklisted. I had several GA's running during that time, so the most amusing explanation I can come up with is that people were salty about not winning and decided to take it out on me, lol.

One time, I created a thread with a train and posted "also any whitelists/group invites are welcome :D" and got blacklisted.

I've got blacklisted by rulebreakers for telling them they are breaking the rules :')
They're not worth anything anyway.

i have no idea why i'm on blacklists, but i like to think they're all people who blacklist all winners or people who are always wrong

I made my first train, and got three blacklists as a result. /boggle

At some point I was blacklisted by someone who I had whitelisted and respected a lot, so it was pretty surprising. I asked about it just for the heck of figuring out what I had done to deserve it (as I had investigated the thread a bit and it seemed giveaways and ratio did not matter to them). They told me they only blacklisted people for being super rude, racist and discriminating, etc. Long story short, they didn't remember why I was blacklisted but they removed me from it, so that was cool. Still not sure to this day if I actually did something that bad without realizing it, or it was a simple mistake.

I don't mind or care about being blacklisted by random people, but I'm kind of a self-conscious freak, so if someone I like/respect blacklists me, it keeps me up at night trying to figure out what I did to make this happen (well, okay, slight exaggeration... I don't care that much in most cases).

count the blacklists as a boon, since you and them won't be able to enter each other's giveaways.

I got blacklisted 3 times but still dont know why. XD

I got 2 blacklists a long while back for unknown reasons. Over time they dropped off, to where I was at 0 blacklists again just a month or so ago.
Shortly after that time, discussion of the SteamGift scripts came up, and I came to realize it wasn't considered good to use it for auto-joining, even if just for convenience. Anyhow, 9 individuals blacklisted me from my comment on that post (presumably all from that post). Kinda sucks. It's not as though I was knowingly doing something I knew was wrong, and have since stopped using it for that function. I also have 4 whitelists as well. Maybe I'll get lucky and the blacklists will again slowly drop off over time (accounts being closed? people reconsidering their previous blacklists?). Or, maybe I'll get more whitelists to at least balance it out. In any case, being someone who follows the rules as far as I am aware of them, it seems harsh to 'punish' someone with a blacklist in such a scenario. I also offer quite a few Giveaways.
I think it would be great if the person adding someone to a blacklist be required to type why they are doing it. It would at least let the user being blacklisted know why so they could take it into consideration. The person adding someone to the blacklist could continue to be kept anonymous.

i always love the blacklists you get from taking the time and money to put up a train... there are some serious trainhaters out there! :)

I got blacklisted twice (I think?) and I honestly don't know why. Maybe cause I said thank you one too many times? Makes me wonder what happened :p

Edit: Where/How can I check my blacklisted status?

I never knew who blacklisted me at first (since i got 3 or 4 at once if i remember) and have to figure out myself why they blacklisted me. But, that's no problem to me since i get to used with blacklist even now.

But the one BL I don't understand is the one from the guy I whitelisted.
