I just tried it a bit on EGS to see if there were the achievements and I noticed that there aren't. i liked it so now I will play it definitively on steam. EGS I use it just as a demo for the games. those that I like and especially if they don't have achievements I buy them on steam

And yet they tried Adios on a launcher they really really hate so much they received two suspensions for continuously spamming their opinion in the respective thread, but now they'll definitely play it on Steam. Press X for doubt.
Their behaviour makes me rethink my disliking them so much. I am starting to think that this person is dealing with serious mental health issues. Asperger, or really heavy autism. Maybe we should be more understanding and empathetic...
Asperger's syndrome is a condition on the autism spectrum, with generally higher functioning.
People with this condition may be socially awkward and have an all-absorbing interest in specific topics.
Communication training and behavioural therapy can help people with the syndrome learn to socialise more successfully.

Yup! I personally like going into those Steam pages and "Ignoring" those games or removing them from my Wishlist as they become available on Epic, so included them for that. I know it's a specific use case but hoped they could be helpful for someone else :)
And ofc thank you for maintaining the main post! We appreciate you

Not the correct item for this thread but there is a limited free weekend for Far Cry 6 on EGS if you link your Ubisoft account to EGS

They also share the theme of not playing games, but still very harshly judging their features.
You're ignoring the actually important first half of my sentence, them not playing games. Not these games, games, at all. That was the point of making that comment. It was not a generalized statement about people to begin with.

i play when i can but sadly my laptop dose not have much space for games

Look, anytime I checked your profile your recently played games had the same few idle games / idk endless? games you already racked up thousands of hours.
Currently "THE GAME OF LIFE 2" is the single game there without at least 1200 hours of gameplay time. According to fresh stats from asats, your last achievement was unlocked in 2021 May, two years ago. Not to judge, but this was the basis of "not playing games".
You do you (though this is a bit far from "I play when I can"), and people will choose if they care about made-up stats that some people build their personality around. Achievements are not mandatory, and as they are part of the client and not the game, the lack of them does not take away from the actual game.

no worries - i agree i don't play many different games enough

I mean, he is right. Free is free, of course. And I will get it myself. And I admit we are getting spoiled.
But it has been in multiple bundles and discounted heavily a lot of times. I would rather get a small, more unknown game than this one.

sure, i just think the majority is pretty spoiled when it comes to free stuff.
its still an awesome game

Hey, everyone.
Here is the complete and regularly updated list of all Epic Games Store free games. This is a continuation of letsmaybeLP92’s work, who maintained this in previous threads.
Epic Games Store offers free games every Thursday at 8 AM PT/11 AM ET. Once you have claimed them, they are yours forever.
