National Chocolate Ice Cream Day! (June 7th)

National Chocolate Ice Cream Day is a great day to eat America's favorite flavor of ice cream.

National Chocolate Ice Cream Day is a field day for ice cream makers. However, we probably don't need any additional incentive to eat Chocolate Ice Cream. And, with the arrival of warm, summer weather, cooling off with a little (or a lot) of chocolate ice cream is a natural.

Celebrate National Chocolate Ice Cream Day by enjoying it a few times today. It's as simple as that. Just make sure to eat it quickly before it melts in the summer heat.

Kinda weird to see Hand of Fate it the BTA tier when you see the 2 games that are in the $10 one, it's probably the game most people will want. Already have it though so I'll stick to tier 1 for now and see what they unlock next week.

Wow! Fast as usual!
We didn't get the Sonic bundle, after all... I'm slightly disappointed (but my wallet is relieved).
I need to do some research on these games before deciding what tier should I buy.
The lowest BTA I've seen so far is $4.94, but I'm sure it'll go lower later...

$28 seems a lot for that plush pig...only $12 would go to charity/devs/HB, wow.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

$28 plus taxes, so that's actually $30-35, depending where you live.
And we don't even get to know how big (or small) is it...

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Oh, they added the measurements: Approximate dimensions 8 in. wide x 8 in. long x 12 in. high (20 cm wide x 20 cm long x 30.5 cm high)
This really troubles me. I bought the Humble Tabletop Box for 32$ and besides taking like forever until arrival, it is such a tiny winy miniature box. Youtube unboxing, not me, didn't see the video, just to see the size of the box compared to his hand.
I'm really excited about merch in general and plushes in particular, but if this is like the size of my hand for 28$... nope, not going for it ;/

Juggling between dozens of tabs is actually the best part of new Humble Bundles!
I do it only for the first few minutes, when the price ups and downs erratically.
Then I only keep two or three.

I gave them (well, Stripe) my phone number ages ago, so… dunno. Could be tied to too many one-dollar or highest-tier purchases?

Comment has been collapsed.

No way I'm giving them my phone number - what would they want it for??? I'm a loyal customer there for years, no idea why they are asking for it now. Maybe because I made a $0.01 BTA locking for the first time?!

My reply didn't show before. Weird.

Did you make a mistake with your recent payment information? I have seen that message after I screwed up putting in a couple of different older prepaids. I said screw it and just didn't buy the bundle until a couple of days later when it worked without them asking for authentication.

Edit: It was during the recent Deep Silver bundle btw.

I wrote a message to support, letting them know that I consider my phone number sensitive private information which is none of their business and that I will not give it to them and told them to unlock my account (in a slightly friendlier tone, pointing out that I've been a loyal customer for many years). Let's see how they react.

I just got my answer minutes ago. They cancelled the purchase without further asking and wrote me this:

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble purchasing due to SMS verification. The point of going through the SMS verification process is that if your order is placed under review, you can verify your phone number so that you do not have to wait for a member of our team to manually complete the process, which can take 24 hours. We've also added the SMS verification partly in response to abuse from some users and I'm sorry that you feel this has negatively impacted your experience. There is unfortunately no way for me to turn this feature off for an individual customer.
.
I would like to assure you that your information would never be released to a third party in accordance with our very strict privacy policy, which can be found here for your convenience: https://www.humblebundle.com/privacy
.
I apologize again for the inconvenience. Please don't hesitate to let me know if there is anything else I can do to assist you.

I wrote them another email, pretty upset this time.
