Aren't hack'n'slash games like diablo/torchlight or have I've been wrong all this time?

Hack & Slash games are RPG games but with more action and less dialogues, story etc.

So if you're looking for those I recommend Dungeon Siege series.

Depends on what you mean. If you mean overhead RPGs, then probably the Torchlight series, Titan Quests, etc.
