I for one think that this was such a good site. I did kind of enjoy both their rewarding games and just browsing and doing some tasks. I spent quite a lot of time at the site and got some great rewards too. And such nice support. What did you think of the site?

lootboy is basically the same thing, except, it's random what you get... So I guess it's slightly worse.

If it was something random that I don't have, I'd be down for it, but random something I might already have, no way.

Yeah, at least you can now burn the card if you do not want the game and you get a random amount of Gems.

Hey, may I ask you how to do it? I'm kinda new on Lootboy.
When I delete a game card it shows me only coins as reward

If you redeem a pack on your phone, after it reveals the premium game, it'll give you the option to keep it or exchange it for diamonds, I do not know if this option is on web as well, since I only noticed it, on mobile and haven't used web since. I also believe you have to exchange it for diamonds there, if you do not, then the option doesn't appear again.

Thanks for the answer mate!
I use Lootboy by phone, but never noticed there was that option when opening a pack 🤷🏻‍♀️

If you do try it, I recommend using their App, they have a lot of better options to get Gems trough the app than on the web.

even if it's true that the app have more "task/offers", I can't recommend it, maybe it's just me, but I have read from other that have the same problem. seems it's terribly designed, on my phone (android) it's consume all the CPU, dunno why, and I can't tell it's running something hidden, but it's take a lot of time to load everything. and in my country we don't have many videos/easy tasks. so I don't use it.

I only do the 12 watch a 15 second add and get coins, then diamonds as well as the diamond packs for watching ads. None of those are on web, so, that's about 11 or more gems daily.

that is why i stopped using it i hate the fact it is based towards app users - why at this point not just make it app only

Yeah, I missed a lot of diamonds because I used to only use the web one, and I didn't know they were so different.

but I use my phone for work, and I prefer my phone to work properly.im almost sure this app have a bad config/ not the best code or something like that, and that's all. but I tried the app in the past, 2 times, and it's make my phone go full work... it's just: not for me

Lootboy is way worse, the games you get are almost always repeats, very old ones or cheap discards from bundles. And they are random.

With Tremor you had coins to buy Steam gift cards, games (and you chose the game you want from a huge list) and much more. You could even buy Bitcoins so you could transform those virtual coins into real money.

You could get an Indie game with only a 15 minute survey. The people exploiting the site flaws were terrible...
I remember asking the admin If I should redeem all the keys before the shutdown and she said It was the best thing to do, so I did a bunch of giveaways here time ago.
Best game I bought there was Pixel Cup Soccer 17 for only 300 coins.
I'm still curious on what were the reasons to shutdown that site. It was awesome.

I don't think the people of tremorgames ever cared about the people exploiting, in the end they got their money, it's the companies that made those offers that got scammed not them.
And perhaps with that some companies perhaps decided to stop doing business with them not making it profitable anymore (i wonder how they got stuff like amazon and dominos cards), but some people just get busy with daily life (like having a kid or health).

"We have been compelled to do this due to some personal issues. We regret we won't be able to disclose more details about the reason for closure. The website will become inaccessible after 25th November.4 dec 2018"

I am more curious why they just didn't let someone else take it over, or make a decent alternative.

Looking at the beermoney subreddit, it seems like FreeCash is a good alternative.

It's already been 8 years (and this thread 1 year), at some point you need to get over it and let it go.
