"This update focuses on highlighting and enabling the best user-created screenshots, videos, and Workshop items for games across Steam while making it easier for the community to discuss their favorite games.

Every game on Steam will have a new Game Hub. The Hubs highlight the most popular user-created screenshots, videos, and Steam Workshop items as rated by the community and combine it with related news, discussions, and comments for the game all in one central location."

I like the game hub feature. Espeicially with teh workshop being more prominent and no doubt will be used by other devs in the future, having that all integrated into a single place makes things a lot easier.

I will be excited about a Steam update when it will include one or more of those three features:
1) Offline messages. Not much to add.
2) Automatic chat logs. Same as above.
3) The ability to add more than one tag (category) to the games in the library, just like in the shop. Had to create tons of redundant categories to properly divide games like Defense/Action/RPG (e.g. Dungeon Defenders) from just Action (e.g. Portal) or just Defense (e.g. Sol Survivor), etc.. I still wonder if I'm the only one with that issue, since all my friends think that subdivision is crazy.

4) Recommendations for the game should be positive/negative if you don't want to recommend a game you got

Uhm yeah, I could second that one too, though it wouldn't really change my daily use of the Steam client.

Instead of multi-tags, I'd love it if the library had a store-style search and filter. The store pages already have a lot of useful info, so if we could use that, we wouldn't need that many tags.

Well, I still do. I don't use them for genres only.
I have my categories like: [O/X][SP/MP/CO][Genre1][Genre2][...]
Where O is for games I haven't played yet/haven't finished/without an end, X for games I completed 100% or I gave up definitely on completing them (stupid Portal crazy challenges..); SP/MP/CO obviously stands for Single Player, Multi Player (versus) and Co-Op, they are not exclusive with each other. And then there are the genres, usually more than one, as much as the characters left allow me to put.
This way, it's pretty annoying to set up and every time I get a new game that doesn't fit exactly in one of the existing categories I need to create a new one, similar to dozen of others, but after it's done I just need to search for the tags - I - chosed to get a filtered list of games I'm feeling like playing at the moment. If I could do that without redundant category names, it would be thousands times better..

Fair enough. For me, however, being able to filter via Steam's idea of genre and SP/MP capabilities, etc. would be enough.
