Get a job, part time or full and study so you can get the job you want in the future. you won't make that much on steam, reselling probably won't get you that much or won't be consistent, and betting is a big financial risk.

Well one thing you should start to do is stop buying games. Focus on your responsibilities. Learning trade skills will help you in your interests. You say you have an interest in developing, designing, business, architecture, and art. Start building a portfolio.

I don't know what the work hours/part time pay is in Indonesia but here in my country 12 hours shifts at fast food joints can be rather common and pay only about $300-400 a month less 32% in taxes and other payables so you realistically only take home about $200-250.

in Indonesia there's no tax so if you get 300-400 a month, you will take home about equals with what you get originally.

sometimes, i agree with these terms "Well one thing you should start to do is stop buying game" But i cant resist with deals every monday, every event, or some new fresh bundles xD

btw what kind of trade skills do i need?

So you're interested in art, so you basically learn to draw or start honing your drawing skills. You don't try to learn CPR or just play video games hoping your art skills get better.

Part time job is most stable and promised work to gain money in my region. Trading needs to be keen on information about the area and talents to negotiate with other traders, and sometimes fails.

But you have to consider the cost of living there too and not convert the earnings to your local currency. This is often a pitfall in thinking I encounter with younger people.

Firstly, decide what you want to do in your life, in what job you can potentially feel comfortable. For instance, I feel comfortable only in IT. Since the last 3 years or so, I was working hard on getting as much knowledge as possible about everything what might be useful, which resulted in things like my Touhou Giveaways group, which is fully automated and synchronized with steamgifts through my bot. Bot automatically does all repetitive group tasks such as adding giveaways, marking winners, counting ratio, points, even kicking leechers. I achieved a point when I feel really comfortable in things I usually do, and I'm not getting paid for them, as those projects are a playground for me to get experience and knowledge, which I can use later in paid ones.

Thanks to that, I have many really well paid "job offers", or rather "project requests", for example lately I was supposed to build a steam trade bot for one company, which took me around 3 days of working ~4-5h / day, and resulted in +300$ on my account. And I didn't even finish my uni yet, last semester. IT is a special sector, because you can get knowledge and experience without working at all, just by doing your own hobby projects, usually for free, only to finish education and be even better than other people working in the same company for 10-20 years.

I must admit that it's the first time I hear about "planology", whatever it is. I'm not sure if you're really into that, or you found yourself there by accident, but if you don't know yet how to use your knowledge then I assume it's the second. Well, not everybody is patient and ambitious to achieve his dream, in this case you can always go search for a part-time job, just choose one that makes you comfortable. If you don't have enough experience, nobody will come to you with excellent well-paid job, mostly you'll work at minimal wage until you reach any skills which might be useful in your job. If you think seriously about earning money, part-time job is the only way for you, as apart from getting money it'll also improve your skills and get you experience, which will be crucial to be promoted in your all future jobs.

You either have some skills which may be useful for the one who is willing to pay you, or you don't have any and you're supposed to do easy repetitive tasks such as working in fast-food restaurant or so.

truthfully, i came here by accident, i was supposed to learn architecture, but i didn't perform well for my GPA.

I agree with some of your words, but i have a problem. I dont have proper, well built pc at my home. i only have old notebooks (core 2 duo, g210m graphic card), and unstable internet connection. when i want to learn and observe more to gain any knowledge i want, sometimes the obstacle comes very often.

i will find part time job at restaurant, or internship at minimal wage to fulfill my requirement to learn.
yeah i love to learn skills i love, for my CV.

the conclusion i get from you is : patient.

thanks for the advice!

Patience, definitely, it always helps. If you're patient and prepared for the worst, you can actually get shocked when something better than you assumed happens, such as assuming you get minimal wage because of lack of skills, and getting more than that. If you do it other way, you'll only get angry/sad when your expectations won't match the real results, and often lose whole willingness to work further, or improve.

It's always sad for me to see people aged 20+ who didn't achieve any simple goal yet, such as at least finding a job or sector that would satisfy them, and doing anything in order to improve in that thing. I often see people in my sector who don't have any useful skills, and I can only ask myself "what, how, how is that possible that during your whole education you didn't do ANYTHING more than what you were forced to do", sigh.

I guess most people aren't aiming for perfection, or doing what they like in their life. It's sad because job will usually be 50% of your whole active life in future, and you'll be wasting it on doing something you don't like, just to earn money you need, instead of doing both things which you would do for a hobby (for free), and in addition to that earning money, which often gives best results as job matches your hobbies perfectly.

Just my 3 cents. You just need to stop thinking about it and actually do something about it. Go on any local website that offers jobs in your place, and choose the one you like, assume worst, and be happy when it turns out better than you thought.

luckily, i'm still 20. not too late for doing something, before i lose my future (i rather lose my past time). I already achieved any simple goal, much more simple than what you mentioned above.

but i'll tell you something. there was people around me who can read minds (or you call it having sixth sense)
once i asked her about my problem, and she said that i've gone too far, i think things i shouldn't have it in my mind. just do step by step, believe me, everything has its own way, and everyone has their own capabilities, limits, and ability.

i'm still having one and half year before i graduate. wish i can do magic. when i read advice, supports, like this, it will encourage me more, despite the limitations i have.

thanks :)

Part time job. If you can do something at home, big plus because you won't have to leave your home/apartment. No money and time wasted on riding/driving to work, much safer in the winter (if you live in the Great Lands Of Canadia™).
If you can't due to crappy computer/internet/phone, well then you'll have to settle to... (quoting first poster)... flip burgers.

In most countries, supermarkets and fast food chains offer jobs for uni/college students, because work force still in school gets tax cuts for them if they work in part-time. If you are lucky, you may get some cosier job too, like data entry (although it is very boring, but if you are the lazy type and/or don't like to stay in a kitchen with 40°C all day, then it's still a good shot).
