Meh just saw the hall of fame. Had no idea that leaderboard was all about xp/score and not finishing fast in as few checks/steps as possible. Had I known that, I would have farmed with the vampire's cowl endlessly in the last area on endgame monsters, I did have resources/combos for endless farming after all. xD Oh well it still matters too little. Honestly though, hall of fame should be about finishing the game fast in these events, especially in terms of steps/checks, and not based on score which can be easily exploited before killing the last boss.^^ In any case I'd really like to see the top people with less checks / steps if at all possible.

Even though i'm top 3 i agree that it shouldn't be about score, i retreated from a lot of enemies, had lots of energy pots left and could buy pretty much unlimited amount so i could farm score as much as i'd want. At least i'd like to see all stats and not only score.

Would be nice actually to at least have a different leaderboard based on speed/few steps/checks etc. Would even be best if we could filter-order what column we wanted to in the same leaderboard about everything.
For example pressing on column "checks", would order everyone by "checks". (less/more checks would be first in the list etc). This way we could chat more about the top10 of less checks, the top10 with most kills etc etc. Would be very nice.

Small humber of checks and steps be made by peoples who start second run, who knows all secrets. Better score per number of deaths or timerun. I lost lot of steps and killed many mobs (with my stuff can't die and have "unlimited" moves) caurse missed hint, pulled every levers 4-5 times, before i asked hint on forum. That why i was on top too long last night.

The website went down earlier today, the server reached its limits and had to be upgraded to handle the increased load.
Quick note: both Adventurer's Crown and Adventurer's Cloak give Advanced Resurrection, it can be upgraded to Best Resurrection with additional artifacts.
I am very sorry for any inconvenience caused by this incident! (what a start of the day :P)

Very nice I guess for those who are still struggling. Btw, just for my curiosity what are the stats on "Adventurer's Crown" and "Adventurer's Cloak" ? Never had any of them, but I've heard of them some times from other players.
PS: You might want to think of making these resurrection hours btw, count from the moment of death in future versions of the game. It's somehow an exploit to keep dying minutes before the resurrection time imo. I'm glad you reduced the time though. 6 hours was indeed kinda harsh. 4 is much better.

Yup, I thought about making individual times. On the other side, fixed times are part of the strategy since you have to plan your time wisely to "exploit" it.
What do you mean by stats on "Adventurer's Crown" and "Adventurer's Cloak", you want to know the number of players with them?
Edit: Overall, 15 guys have these artifacts. They are level 5 and 6 contributors.

I was referring to what do these items exactly grant . :P Luck? + points to stats? what exactly do they do? :O I don't care how many people have them. xD Just to see how OP they are. In any case I'd definitely love in the future to see a compendium/list with all available artifacts and their stats/abilities. :P
PS: I had bad luck this time concerning the initial artifact I started the game with, so I was really wondering if it would be possible in future versions, to at least grant initial artifacts( based on contributions of course) that are actually of use to the specific class you choose. Would be really super nice. I don't like so much randomness in the initial item we get, may some times feel too unfair... I mean imagine if one gets an energy replenish artifact from the beginning (which is super OP), and if another just gets an artifact that does a minor thing, such as grants a point to defense or fire mastery or something. This may be a bad example but you understand what I mean.

Omg...!!!! I figured they would be "somehow" OP but I didn't anticipate such godly items lol..... I don't know what advanced EP replenishment is, but it's already broken from the other bonuses anyway. :P loooool. Almost want to puke. :P:P You could easily nerf those and they would still be amazing....How a person would die with any of these is beyond me honestly.

Best artifacts for best contributors, nothing unfair here.
All artifacts (except those 2 Elite ones) have 3 levels: the higher the artifact level, the better effects it has. Different VIP levels are rewarded with artifacts of different levels. All artifacts' positive effect is higher than negative one (with rare exceptions for low-level artifacts, where positive and negative effects might be more or less equal).

Agreed of course, but this does not change the fact of how OP they are. They are even better than the best endgame item you would get on lvl10. Crown is equal to immortality. Calling the game easy mode then, would be an understatement. More like a walk in the park... That's more than overkill regardless of fair or unfair imo... Everything is relative after all... And each class benefits differently depending on item, that's why I suggested maybe looking into specific rewards for specific classes. (aside from those 2 OP items of course that are great for anyone even if they were nerfed or not)

I believe both Elite artifacts are well-deserved (people contribute expensive games after all) and shouldn't be discussed. Yes, they give the highest possible chance to win the Game.

These items are indeed quite good. But I just wanna add that this game wasn't pay to win. I didn't have any of this artifacts and yet I was able to win. It's good when contributors are rewarded and it doesn't mean that they will automaticaly win.

Seeing as you almost won the game, I gather you don't have energy problems, the not being able to escape is less of a hassle.
Strength also is 5% damage bonus per lvl(if you use physical weapon), so the 2nd one will most likely be better overall. If you have the healing to survive all the battles until the dragon.

At last! I did it! :D I was stuck in the dungeon for almost two days because I did not read something carefully, which is frustrating because I could have finished much earlier. But now it's done. :) The final fight was not as easy for me as for some others, mostly because shortly before encountering the dragon I discarded a weapon which way more attack than the new one (but with some other perks). Still, it was definitely doable.

As the score count is now, the best score will be the player that prolongs killing the dragon the most. Seems like a bad idea for a hall of fame, to prolong your win doesn't it? Makes it almost meaningless actually. Think about it.

At least 2 people made over 1100 steps. And one other guy died 34 times(almost certain it was 34).

Yeah I wanted to see these funny numbers. :) But also the opposite numbers. Fastest player would have my outmost respect. (with least checks/xp/steps) And less deaths would be interesting too. Anyone finished with 0 deaths??? Though the game did indeed reward you for deaths so many times due to some special items, that we actually died deliberately. :P

Are you sure it cannot be exploited? I think as of now xp is too important for the overall score, while it should be the exact opposite, and reward better in points in the end the ones with less xp/checks/deaths/steps. Finishing faster should be priority. I only mention this because most people that stayed on lvl 10 for long times, and killed too many monsters, did indeed end up in the top of hall of fame. Many examples. So it definitely has room for improvements. Anyway "if" I find the time to replay the game, I might try and prove it.

Game actually requires at some points to look at the text in order to not stick on quests for long. Both when visiting some squares but also while checking. You can miss stuff if you don't pay enough attention. And some things are better to document either on paper or on your ingame notes. Oldschool style. :)

Introduction
Game of sWords is a text RPG Adventure where you can explore dungeons (or other locations), complete quests, solve puzzles, find useful items, avoid deadly traps and fight dangerous monsters while searching for treasures (private SteamGifts giveaways links) on your way and trying to reach the end to get access to a huge amount of private giveaways! Each Game (of sWords) usually has a unique scenario and a limited number of winners, so the chances will always be great.
All giveaways have no restrictions, so anyone who finds them can join them!

Important notes about the Game
In the Game, you will have Energy Points and Health Points.
Most of the actions in the Game require Energy Points. Energy can be replenished using items, which you can find everywhere, thus it is important that you check everything around you!
Energy will also be replenished over time. Normally, you will receive 1 Energy Point every 15 minutes, and that time can be reduced with special artifacts that can be found in Game.
Note, that the Energy won't be replenishing during the battles (you can only restore it with potions)!
If you lose all your Health Points, you will also lose all the energy you had plus you will have to wait for up to 6 hours to be resurrected. (Basic Resurrection happens every 6 hours from the time the Game started - 16:00 GMT). The energy can not be replenished while you are dead!
Note: If you have problems navigating through the map, you can switch to Simplified Navigation at the bottom right corner.

What's new in the current Game of sWords?
Current Game is a true RPG adventure with 3 classes, experience system and levels, multiple skills, wide variety of enemies with random encounters and huge amount of weapons, artifacts and items. There is 10 times more of everything than in the previous Game! The map is now twice as big as the one in The Secret Castle (previous Game), so you have to be ready for a long and dangerous journey! Make smart decisions, develop your character your way and lead him to success!
Current Winners limits: Barbarians:19, Mages:17, Thieves:24.
Winners get access to all giveaways available in the Game! (80+)
Everyone who finishes the Game after the limit is reached gets 1 random treasure as a consolation prize!
All giveaways end on the 1st of March!
