Maybe I will someday, though, just to be able to say "I BOUGHT WINRAR" (and to support the developers, but who cares about that)

I bought it, around 9 years ago it seems. Still use it, easily one of the better purchases. It was the flat out best of the competitors back then, and it still is*, IMO.

(*granted, I haven't used any of them in good while, 7-zip last I checked had fairly derpy UI when compared to Winrar, atleast)

I switched to 7zip, and im perfectly happy with it.

I dont think WinRar is faster, at least it doesnt feel that way, with the settings i use

And one the plus side, no activation window, that really bugged me

Call me crazy, but yes I bought it. I cracked it but then a strong sense of guilt caused me to repent and buy it. It's probably one of my most used programs.
