Pretty much the question explains itself. I mean, I've seen a lot of outrage on the internet about horse meat on things, and I kinda thing that it's a pretty good meat.

I mean, I do like some horse burgers and stuff, it's tasty. So I was wondering where the problem is.

Also as a follow up question, what do you think about eating rabbit?

No, I don't eat horse meat because I apparently like horses and also worked with them in the past.

I haven't eaten any. I could probably eat it if I get a prepared dish, just not the one you see on photo, too much emotional connected.

Everything is eatable in China xD

Well for answering your question yes
Horse is pretty tasty
Rabbit too (But they're too cute to eat T_T)
Snake hmm so-so, but people said they're a healthy food (Kinda taste like chicken but stink like fish)

No issue in any meat. I will eat any type but my country does not even sell rabbit/kangaroo/bear paws :\

outrage on the internet about horse meat on things

If I remember it correctly - It was not about eating horse meat but about horse meat in products that should not contain horse meat (like bovine meat). Problem is that horses are divided in 2 categories - those for food production (vets cant use many of medicines on them) and sport/domestic horses (vets can use any medicine they need but meat from that horse is banned from market - if horse dies it must be burden or burned). So if there were horse meat in other products, added without knowledge of competent authorities - it could be potentially dangerous for consumers health (due to antibiotics/other drugs in meat).

There are also people who love horses and treat eating them as cannibalism - which is just retarded xD

Tried horse meat and it's nothing special, rabbit though.. I love it xD

No, since horses qualify as common-rare pets and one of the more majestic common beings.
And, at least for me, one of the definining qualities of modern civilization is that we don't eat pets, or other people. Also, we just quite literally don't need to. It's easy to breed pigs and cows.

I've probably had horse and rabbit, but I don't make a regular habit of either, but for different reasons.

One of the main deciding factors on the animals I eat is their intelligence. It may seem arbitrary, but chickens, cows, and pigs domesticated for their value as a food stock are all... well... lets call them "dim". Compare the intelligence of a boar with that of a pig and you'll see what I mean.

Likewise chickens are dumb enough to watch their siblings put their head through a hole and die... and then put their own head through. Most horses, while skittish, are intelligent. Cows... not so much.
