FTL Trading Cards

Hello, people of SG.

Does anyone know how many trading cards are dropped in FTL? I've gotten 4 so far, but there are 9 total (unless I've counted wrong). Since TF2 had 9 cards and dropped 5, I suspect that I may have missed 1. Can anybody confirm my suspicion?

There are only 8 in the set, not 9.

Source: I crafted the thing three times already.
