Yup, but it was Bad Company 2. I asked for a new code because I lost my account and I couldn't play multiplayer. The "helper" tried to "help" but then he told me to hold... I waited.. 10 minutes went to an hour.... and then he logged out of the chat and exited... EA's support isn't very much support...

I won it in a contest the week it came out (not on this site) and really wish I would have sold the code. It is no less than a dozen kinds of terrible.

Stop being so entitled, you brought a $60 game and got nothing.

I didn't read what you said, but your name is Guybrush, so you deserve to win.
edit - I'm not being sarcastic.

If you want to speak to a supervisor, you should call them, not email. That being said, in EA's defense, the order went through on their end just fine - as you said, it was Paypal that rejected it (are you not old enough to own a credit card?). So it makes sense that the coupon got marked as used - you have to remember, computer databases control those things, they're not manually handled by people.

Its not like you're missing out on much, i'd say they did a favor.

So you say: "EA saved me from buying their crap." That's good for you. So EA seems to be a very fair company. I should recommend them.

I had a problem with crysis maximum edition bought from amazon. Origin didn't recognize the code, and the "customer support" guy (pretty sure his name was Pradeep too) refused to help me, told me it was amazon's problem, AND if I pressed the issue that they would terminate my account. Asked for a supervisor, took them over a month to get back to me, but I finally got Crysis ... on origin :(

EA's chat support has been so abused lately, I don't blame them for being short tempered. I've seen threads upon threads on various sites about people telling others how they've talked their way in to a free game or a discount just by complaining. For a month or so you could easily get a free copy of BF3 or BFBC2 by claiming that your Origin key wasn't working and providing them with a fake key. It's not an excuse for them being rude, but it's possibly and explanation.

That does not change the fact that origin SUCKS DIC- ehem.
Origin is bad.

EA Support are useless to be honest, 6 days ago my EA/Origin account got hacked, I have contacted EA Support 4 times throughout then, and haven't got a single email from their team investigating it like they said I would, You'd think they would act somewhat quickly with a hacked account :|

After 4, I've concluded they are all clueless Indians

I peed my pants while I was reading this. Especially number 4 was very enjoyable.
It is quite sad though.

So I had a promo code for origin that gave me a 10€ discount.
Meaning I was able to purchase Battlefield 3 for 15€.
However due to some troubles on paypals sides the payment was blocked and the order didn't go through.
Paypal instructed me to try again, but I can no longer use my promo code as the order that never got through used it.
EA support is refusing to give me a "refund" on the code that got used for nothing.
And when I told the support guy that I wish to talk to a supervisor or someone in sales management i got this:
Pradeep:
