Just got it using the Expat Shield :D Thanks!!!

I'm not able to login when I have Expact running though.

It says my login information is incorrect... even though I know it isn't.

I can't even use the internet with Expat on

Guess its time to get origin...

This is such a great game. If you don't have it yet, it's well worth it. Best racing game I've ever played. This game convinced no fewer than six of my friends that video games could be fun.

I got both Burnout Paradise & Fifa Manager 12 Live Session, but Fifa Manager don't appear in my account, dunno why. Maybe i'll just have to wait a bit.

Here is how I got it to work

Log off Origin
Install VPN software
Log on Origin using your EMAIL
Type Burnout in search
Add to cart
Enter Promo
Enter fake details
Checkout
View games list

I wouldn't install that goddamn spyware even if I got free BF3 for it.

WHo wants to know the easy way to get it?

Simply reinstall Origin, the first time you log in you'll get the Pop up and get the game(s) for free. Did it on 3 accounts so far, no problem :)

I remember getting it free from a mistake on their site round about last xmas. Installed it. Never played it. Uninstalled the EA download manager when it told me it was switching to origin.

just tried doing this again for a friend (Expat Shield was not working for him) and it's still working fine :D

it worked and still working fine, all u have to be careful is in the information at the end, thats it :)

lets give it a shot, havent had any problems using VPN to buy BF3 so we'll see how this goes, thank you!

ok so heres the deal. i was originally getting the Payment Authorisation Failed error, but i got past it. i was either clever or lucky, but heres what i did.

i made sure i filled out details and selected paypal for payment, and THEN i applied the code. if you apply the code first, the system bypasses the payment details and that might be the cause of the problem. once i selected paypay for payment, then applied the code, the site accepted that it was a free deal, and didnt ask me for any payment deals and accepted the purchase.

try this if you are getting the same payment authorised failed error :)

if that works for ya, gift me a game or something :P

How I did it:
Install Expat Shield,
Open(make sure it's off before launching ES) Origin,
Search for Burnout,
Click "Add to Cart",
Click "Check-Out",
Scroll to the bottom of the window and enter the promo code where it says "Promo Code",
Click Apply,
Fill out fake info that relates to me living in the UK,
Continue,
Continue again on the page where it just shows the things you entered,
Uninstall ES.
