Mine was unpaused as well, despite I certainly had paused when I saw early unlocks for the November monthly.

Just to chime in, I have also paused subscription (month-to-month). My status on the billing page is Unsubscribed and:
October 27, 2017 Skipped a Month
October 06, 2017 Paused Subscription
However, in the Humble store I am seeing 10% off thingie on everything and on the Days of the Dev bundle page, for tier 3, I have noticed that the $2 item is no longer crossed out (it used to be initially, 2-3 days back?) as if I were still subscribed. To me, it looks like there's just some bug that hasn't been ironed out yet.

Extra alert, seems they ate a month of me aswell.
Dug up an older mail that indeed on the 6th confirmed I would be charged in March. Checking out page today it said January, pausing again February... where did that month go?
Keep on alert, meanwhile my ticket is send.

Has anyone actually been charged for the November monthly after pausing it? I haven't been, and it's not clear from previous comments if anyone else has (sorry if I missed something).
Could this just mean that on Oct 27 (a week before the bundle release) their billing cycle kicked in as expected, and so they unpaused our subscription so that we will get the December bundle and regain access to subscriber benefits (discount and trove)?
For the people who paused again after Oct 27, will they end up missing the December monthly too?
EDIT: I am still confused by "Next Billling Date October 27, 2017"
EDIT: after experimenting with unpausing/pausing, it does look like there's a good chance there may be a few surprise charges on Friday... (I may be confused about that because I usually pay early on the previous bundle day) Also, it seems you can still pause November after all, even if you pay month-to-month.

It's very confusing, but my assumption in response to the question in your second paragraph was yes, that the new billing cycle started at that point, so the account unpaused and benefits were re-enabled. I signed up for the annual subscription, but the effect is similar to what you saw. I didn't want to add to their support load with another request, but I did send their support team a note asking for clarification if I needed to re-pause the subscription - I'd rather prevent their making a billing mistake than try to fix one after it happens.

I have a problem here :S
The past month, i suscribed to the HB Monthly only for Tomb Raider, i think only gonna be a month because in the next bundle say me "Your subscription has ended" but this month, exactly 26 oct, they charge me 12 dollars again D:
I have no idea, but i dont buy this month, because i dont play online games

So the bundle with Rise of the Tomb Raider was your first Monthly ? Did you unsubscribe in your account options after getting it ?
The 12$ month-to-month plan is still a subscription, you will be charged each month (unless you pause it each month or you unsubscribe for good).
You can try to send them a ticket asking for a refund, it might work.

TL;DR : An issue with the pause, you might have been unpaused, especially if you paused a few weeks ago (before IGN ?). Please, check your statut.
If you were unwillingly charged, send them a ticket to ask for a refund as soon as possible, and don't reveal your keys.
