So either they really missed something up or it may have been a display bug considering the skipped month is displayed before my additional cancellation toady. Maybe someone else can check this too.
Edit:
With display bug i mean that the current monthly may still have been unsubscribed after all. Just checked the mail and there it says "You'll begin receiving games again in December 2017." So i guess we may have just canceled the not yet revealed november issue.
Never mind that, just realized the current one with TES is the November one, so it was definitely unpaused.

I hope it will be fixed fast and cleanly. I wouldn't have any issue with this 12$ loss (pissed-off though, of course), but I can imagine that's a very big problem for many.

I recall this happened to me some months ago (I've long since unsubscribed completely). I could have sworn I paused my subscription, only to find it had activated itself again a few days later. I always double and triple checked after that if I wanted to pause. It was weird.

I paused it for one month, got the confirmation email, and at some point you, fuckers unpaused it. Good thing a guy on the forums posted it so i won't get charged for your incompetence. Really sleazy move. Good job, you lost another customer. Fuck you!

I hope it will be fixed, being billed for 12$ can be a pain for many.

Double checked (i canceled yesterday) and my subscription is still canceled. I wonder if the bug has to do with "pausing" your subscription? Either way that should not be happening.

Glad I read this post, checked my both HB accounts and on both status was changed to normal. Just paused both again. Thanks MrRenard, you really helped me on this. And I paused my subscription the fist day they announced early unlocks.

Pause because I (we) choose the "1 month plan" at 12$.
With this plan, we buy the Monthlys on a month-to-month basis. If a Monthly is good enough, we don't do anything and we are charged one week before the end of the Monthly (or anytime in the month to reveal the early unlock(s) key(s)).
But when we are not interested by the Monthly (like this one), we can pause the subscription for a month. We skip the Monthly, and we aren't charged for it (at least when it's not broken...).
With this plan, we are free to skip the Monthlys we don't want, but we keep the 10% discount on the Humble Store and the Humble Trove access (only during the months we buy a Monthly, the bonus pause when we skip the bundle).

I paused when the early unlocks were revealed, then a couple days ago I checked after a friend mentioned the monthly, just to make sure. It was unpaused.
I paused again thinking I had just forgotten to do so in the first place, now I checked after reading your post and I was unpaused AGAIN (ಠ_ಠ)

Yeah....I really should have specified that I meant in the context of no=yes and yes=anal, and not in a much more....erm...liberal sense.
However, as I enter middle age, I have to say it's always nice to receive offers, especially those to...well.....try something new and a little outside the norm.
