Simple question for all you forum-dwellers: what's the worst port of a game you've ever played?

For me, it's Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP on PC. I just recently downloaded an Android port, and it plays much, much smoother than it did on my laptop (then again, my laptop wasn't exactly made for gaming). The controls seemed sluggish on the computer (especially for fighting the Gold Trigon), and I don't recall hearing much of the games incredible score, even with headphones. If the Steam version didn't have Achievements, I probably wouldn't play it again anytime soon.

Saints Row 2.

Also, I haven't actually played this yet, but I heard a lot of complaints about the DS: PTDE port.

DS:PTDE needs dsfix and custom key setup or pad. After that its awesome game.

Bioshock Infinite.
It crashing my video driver at start, freezing, audio stuttering etc. I've to apply several tweaks to make the game works smoothly.
You may blame it to my system but I never had this issue with any game before, even the demanding one.

Half Life 2
The console version was so much better, why did they bother bringing it to PC

Not sure what you mean at all by that. The game runs perfectly and beautifully on the PC, I don't believe the same can be said about the console versions. And I'm pretty sure Valve didn't port it over from the consoles.

it wasn't even a troll, I felt the humor was in that it was such an obviously bad troll attempt, anyone actually fooled by it probably should re-evaluate their internets

Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath doesn't work (well enough to play) on many computers, including mine. It's too slow to play due to being made only for Nvidia cards.

Not that bad, but I remember the start of Assassin Creed 2.
I remember the start:
Game: -Move head. shows the yellow button
Me: -Hey! I have no yellow button on my mouse or keyboard!
Me: …
Me: -Ah, well. It should be easier that way. plugs in xbox gamepad

I agree Dark Souls was a bad port, but nothing compared (imo) to the state Fallout: New Vegas was released in. There were so many game-breaking bugs, it would crash randomly, and the 2nd update they released meant I couldnt kill any enemies in my game (they just got KO'd, and would then get up again behind me a minute later, meaning I didnt get any XP). This changelog says it all really.

The original Doom for SNES. It ran in a small window and even then it was too choppy to play well.

Dead Space 1. Horrible mouse controls, that meant you could not turn 180 degrees without lifting your mouse. Some how the movement of the mouse was directly linked to the fps, so unless you activated v sync, the mouse movement would be variable. Result: Motion sickness for me. Never finished it, cannot be bothered anymore.

I never got that far. Idk if fov had anything to do with it, but the mouse movement in itself was enought to cause motion sickness for me. I loved the story, but the game was unplayable for me.

The mouse in DS1 was so horrible that I didn't even bother playing it. Steam shows 13 minutes of play time.
