Simple question for all you forum-dwellers: what's the worst port of a game you've ever played?

For me, it's Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP on PC. I just recently downloaded an Android port, and it plays much, much smoother than it did on my laptop (then again, my laptop wasn't exactly made for gaming). The controls seemed sluggish on the computer (especially for fighting the Gold Trigon), and I don't recall hearing much of the games incredible score, even with headphones. If the Steam version didn't have Achievements, I probably wouldn't play it again anytime soon.

The first attempt to port Street Fighter II to PC.
They literally managed to get all the worst parts of every other port in one place with that one (cut down sound effects, the worst midi versions of the soundtrack, graphics downgraded in terms of pallette, sprite size and animation frames, loading times longer than a round of fighting, and reloading every round), and on top of all that they added 3 SPF (yes, second per frame) animation for good measure.

Castle Crashers.

The on screen tips or whatever you want to call them showed Xbox keys even though I had no controller plugged in at all.

I'd have to say the worst port I've ever played would be Cave Story for the TI-84.

Every console FPS, that is also on PC. True console FPS like HALO and GoldenEye 007 don't count of course, because they were made for console in mind, and they work perfectly. PC FPS have no right to be on consoles.

Halo was more of a PC game than a console game, if I know correctly.

The first Halo came to PC 2 years after it's release on xbox, so I wouldn't call it a PC game.

Regardless if you call it a PC game or not, it is vastly superior on PC to the Xbox and multiplayer servers remain populated to this day. It may have come to Xbox first, but it was definitely better suited to PC.

Castle Crashers (for no keyboard+controller coop) or Binary Domain (multiple commands are on the same keyboard button...)

Tony Hawk's Underground for PC. It came out only in Australia a year after it got released internationally on Xbox, Gamecube and Playstation 2. It's the best sports game of 2003 and the worst port of 2004.

Glitches make this game unplayable. This one is the worst. It basically teleports to the ground so it's impossible to jump off ledges and stuff like that.

I havn't really played any bad ports. The worse I've seen, however, would be London 2012: The Official Video Game of the Olympic Games. :3

Use a controller and it's flawless. Game was never meant to be M&K.

I know, I used a controller and it was fine.

My point is it's still a terrible port.

There are a lot that come to mind like: Darksiders, Devil May Cry 3, GTA IV(even though my experience was decent, with very few bugs, I know people who literally couldn't play it), Binary Domain, but probably the worst one I played I'd have to say is Brutal Legend on the PC. It's so broken and it sucks so much. The ONLY good thing about it is the live-action intro with Jack Black.
