It is. Overrated, repetitive and mediocre. If I would do the same thing over and over again for my amusement, it would be convincing my GF to do anal. This game is crap. Its fanbase actually reminds me of Nintoddlers. Horrible.

The start is pretty bad, it gets better once you finish unlocking some powers. You should try one of the alternative modes.

From the looks of it(i could be wrong), you can actually buy it for 4 dollars during the weekend through the goty upgrade, since you already have the game, albeit temporarily.
That's a better deal than it was during the steam summer sale(5$).

Made Bright Lord made the combat very repetitive, brand enemies till ring is charged > activate ring > execute warlord. Doing the mission barely added something to the story, plus what happened/was going to happen was already told in the main story.

While it's nice they are offering for free I'm not sure many will get the bonus unless they offer a free gift copy if you already own it which I doubt.I do not regret buying it for 3.99.
It can be repetitive but also fun at the same time if you play it in short burst.The game play and such was pretty good and the story was decent enough and the world was neat.It's just felt more like a Hunting game with Lord Of The Rings lore mixes in.
That being said it was well worth the price far more games cost more and offer a more bland play.I however will wait to see the new one plays out before I jump aboard.I want to make sure it just not more of the same.

I got ambushed by three nemeses at once when I was very early in the game, which highlights my main issue with it, all of your nemeses show up at the same time. Also if you're fairly decent at the game you'll run into nemeses all the time which gets annoying after a while and you just ignore them. The idea was nice, but the execution is very poor.

prob the worse Arkham combat style game i have played, it it wasent for the nemesis system would have 0 redeeming qualities, and even that is something that happens for like 30 seconds every 2 hours of the most boring game world... 3 days is more than enough to finish it btw...

but on the old ones you can, :P, mainly is the aim capabilities, if you play with controllers maybe you didnt realize that you can aim with the mouse to witch tug you are going to beat next, its great for taking out specific enemies or to give more style to the fight but mainly because it gives you control, and you really feel in control of batman at all times. That is gone in Shadow of Lame-mor(gotem!).
and my biggest gripe is with the concept itself, in batman is "cool" to take out multiple enemies with my fists and even when they have guns you are able to beat them, it goes with what batman does, witch it no killing the badies, and as the game progress you get more gadges and abilities to knock them out if more awesome ways, so tackling multiple enemies and balancing it becomes a fun challenge into itself.
But on Shadow of Mordor the enemies are silly worthless orcs, even more, you are an elite fighter and your objective is to kill them and right from the start you have what you need to do that, a sword, so as the game progress it, you become even more overpowered, to the point where killing orcs is no longer a challenge, it becomes a chore...

mehcanic wise batman is incredibly easy. I think the only time i ever lost on a batman game is when i miss the platform sections.
batman may be cool and have a great storyline, but in terms of combat is far more monotonous then shadow of mordor.
In batman, the enemies rarely attack together and most goons are easily beaten; those that aren't you can use both the gadgets and the stun button to keep the staggered infinitely.
At least in shadow of mordor if you pick a wrong fight you can day at the start. It also has cool mini bosses that give fights that "force" you to explore your moves.
Obviously shadow of mordor "story" is much worse but mechanicaly is solid.

I thought it was a fun game. I've been meaning to get back to it. The best part is the violent stabbing you can pull off. Somehow it's insanely satisfying to do :)

i was playing and i like it!
done 9 of 20 main mission, when need kill 4 boss game become little boring, include because sometimes i cannot interrogate the NPC.
