it does - Steam API reports games from free weekend as owned (that's why you sync via free weekend you will also not be able to enter GAs for these games) - that's also what got used in the past by botters/cheaters to register loads of fake bot accounts to SG (For Honor alone is not enough to go over 100$ value, but there was for example free Down of War weekend and all games were added to account for API, and they value alone was over 100$ - this way you could register to SG without even owning a single game on Steam).

Anyone tried it before? I saw someone mentioning a new marketplace with games, sorta like g2a/kinguin, but I'm not sure if they are legit.
