Heya there,

If I have a bunch of Desura keys (in which some of them I have redeemed the Steam code for, as they came with both a Steam and Desura key), am I allowed to giveaway (to friends etc) the spare Desura keys?

As I have never used Desura and don't really plan to, as I use Steam as my main source for games.

You can give Desura keys in the forum, but never in official giveaways

Edit - Sorry, misread it. If you have two codes for the same game, but intend one to be used by another person, it depends on the game. some use a CD key to connect online for example, so those are out.

That's not what they're asking. He's asking if he can give the Desura code that was included with a Steam key (That he already used) to friends or people he knows, or if it will cause a problem with Steam or Desura. I am not sure on this, as I've never used Desura, but am writing this for future clarity when others answer.

Game X comes with Steam and Desura keys, he wants to know if he can give the Desura key for game X to someone even though he redeemed the Steam key for game X.
