Someone won my giveaway, i sent him an e-mail, he may think i'm a scammer and wont read it...

After that I tried adding him on Steam but it seems that he blocked all communication with me...

What shall i do to give it to him?

Or shall I ask for another winner?

I can see he is login into steamgifts, but he wont respond to me...

But you can't be sure if he used the key in the meantime ...

Hmm. Yeah - if the key was sent, that's a different story.

Pretty bloody rude if he didn't reply or say "thanks" though...

Anyway, i can still check the games he own in steam, and try my key...
If the games "appear" on his list i'll just warn him on steamgifts...

If he blocks your communication and won't accept your friend request, don't waste any further effort hunting him down. Give it 7 days and re-roll.

If he can't be civil, he doesn't deserve your gift...

Yup - I initially didn't realise that the gifter had sent the key via email.

Welcome to the steamgifts winners club. Only one of the people that won my giveaways said thanks afterward. Some people are like that. Don't waste your energy fixing humanity. You won't succeed. Next time (if there will be one) state that you will give the game in the chat room.

Probably, but I'm not really bothered by that, just pointed out the nature of some people

That's why I no longer send keys to winners via email. This happened to me once (on my first giveaway) and I had to sort it out with support. Now I make sure I get the person on Steam chat and give the key there. (You can also take a screenshot of the conversation in case he doesn't mark the gift as received) If the winner doesn't mark the gift as received within the 7 days, write to support.

If the game is in his game list it's already good, and otherwise a screenie of the sent mail would work as well, I reckon.

But yeah, personal delivery > otherwise mainly because of all the crap that could happen making things more complicated than needed
