I'm waiting for November 1st to buy all the candies on sale

seems like an appropriate thread to point out that people who work with different number bases sometimes confuse halloween and christmas because 31 oct == 25 dec.

Thanks Santa!

Shouldn't your collar only be made of hearts cards though?

Out of curiosity, how is the necklace made (brief description works)?

Also - is it just a collar necklace thing or is it going like full circle or something lol

Just making sure you're not suffocating yourself haha! I'm surprised it holds so well with staples alone o.o

Or two decks and spacing them out more

I have about 8 decks of cards lying around the house all missing cards so I guess it wouldn't be a problem.

No I do not have a card game addiction O.O

In my country, there's no costumes for it, no trick or treat, no pumpkin carving, nothing like that. instead they go to cemetery to visit their dead family members, light candles throughout the occasion. serve some food, and pray. we don't call it Halloween, if the translate the words, it would be "the day of the dead". is that weird?

That is not weird at all. In fact, that is how it originally started but over the years it has lost some of its meaning and become known to be what you are referring to as Halloween. It is just the adaptation of the day of the dead.

Nice to know.

Yeah, there is more to it as Halloween has also been influenced by other traditions but day of the dead is one of the roots for what Halloween has come to be. Do you mind me asking where you're from? I would guess you're from Mexico just because you said the translation is day of the dead but I could very well be wrong :)
