Graven:The Purple Moon Prophecy.
Ok story and not too cluttered HOG scenes, unfortunately it's a old-ish game and doesn't like if you alt-tab too frequently to follow a walkthrough so it's going to crash.
Side note:HOGs were a genre that i was always a bit skeptical about, but i've come to enjoy it a fair bit.

So which experience was the better one? What felt more fitting to the lore and while interacting with the other characters.

Wario Land II on my old Game Boy Pocket 😅
This was an odd one but fun (and very nostalgic) nonetheless.
When you beat the game for the first time and get the first ending you've only played 50% of the levels.
I found one hidden route leading to a new zone by accident but the other ones seem to be hidden pretty well because I explored all levels thoroughly.
Also the game takes a departure from the classic Mario / Wario Land 1 formula and ditches power ups and replaces them with enemies that inflect status effects on you which are used for puzzles.
I still missed the dragon and the bull horns helmet though 😩
Also it takes a cue from Sonic and instead of turning small when you get hit (or losing your current power up) you lose coins and Wario can't die.

Just beat Mortal Shell, excellent game, really enjoyed the dark murky desolate feel of the game and its gratifying combat. I wish they could have delved deeper into its vague cryptic lore, but enjoyed the story and the universe. The ending wasn't as satisfying as it could have been, but the overall experience made up for it. I hope they explore the lore further in future games🤞

Haha I know what u mean I initially sucked as well. The thing with these games is that you've got to do some homework if you arent a natural. My key take away from such games is to have patience, instead of panicking and spamming attack! Dodge, parry and observe the movement pattern of the enemies. Once it clicks though, it feels reaaaally satisfying and fun.

That games is on my wishlist. Might\have to get it on the winter sale.
Then again, knowing my luck I'll buy it and a month later it will be o the HB choice.

Just beat Gizmos: Interstellar Voyage, was a nice puzzle game, just not a fan of these 50h and 100h gameplay achievements, even more when the timer only works if the game is in the front.

In the last couple of days i beat 100% Red Bow and Through Abandoned:The Underground City.

Also beat Full Throttle Remastered 100%.
Good remaster of an old LucasArts point&click adventure,it has a weakish story that is carried by the stellar VA cast and a couple of annoying sections in the middle. Also if you're going for completion and you're not saving often you may have to replay big chunks or the entire game again to get a few achievements.Overall 5/10.

Beat season 1 of The Last Door.
Good point&click adventure,it cannot convey horror very well visually because of its pixel art style but it makes up for it with excellent ambient sound and music.

100% of Agent A:A Puzzle In Disguise.
PC port of a mobile game,a tad overpriced but fairly frequently on sale up to 90% discount which is where i picked it up.
The puzzles aren't too difficult, but if you're going for a full completion there's some grindy achievements and a lot of traveling back and forth. Also there's a speedrun achievement which, while fairly lenient,is kinda yikes for me.

So, as usual, I got wondering.
What was the last game you beat?
I don't mean actual 100% cleared, just beat.
Two day ago, I FINALLY beat the Ringed City from Dark Souls 3. And since it was with a new character devoted to using one weapon I needed to get from it, I count it as beaten the game as well. Especially since I did an ending I never got before.
So, who's next?
Sorry, no GA at the moment as I have nothing left.
Edit- Thanks to one poster, I should clarify that the game does not have to be on steam. It could be on the PS4, XBone, Switch or other. Even a phone game.
Edit 2- Added in PS5 and Series X games too.
