Did vpssuper talk about Western societies? Why are you limiting your "argument" to that? (also, income inequality, no maternity leave (or even paternity), abortion stuff in the US + Ireland + probably other countries, "grab them by the pussy" is apparently okay to a lot of people ...)

I'm limiting my argument to that because western women complain about nonexistant issues like the wage gap and university rape epidemics while real feminists fight boku haram in africa to stop female genital mutilation. I'm limiting my argument to the west as a pertinent negative, and that is largely where the media points the problem to and it's insulting to real problems women face

Salary - wage gap is a myth. Women are paid less because they take more vacations and work less hours. Also because on the whole they select less paying jobs such as social work while men are more likely to go into the sciences.
Here is a comprehensive outline http://i.imgur.com/Y4IXO0a.jpg
Home violence - true
Sexual abuse - Think it's true, but I don't know the exact statistics
place in higher position - why is this a women issue? Meritocracy is genderblind. That's like saying Physics and engineering is sexist because its 95% men. Women aren't on the whole interested in going into the field as much as men and vice versa in fields like nursing and teaching.
Women are favored in many things, like a longer lifespan, lower work related mortality rate, lower prison sentences for the same crime, ect.

Your wage gap conclusion is crap. I agree it's most likely not as significant as most people tout, I've heard the 90-95 cent thing before (which is still a gap!), but "take more vacations and work less hours", really? Did you conclude that women are lazy? Did you not think about there being a reason for that, certain societal expectations + pressures? I don't think you even read the graphic you linked - paid work + unpaid household work combined puts women at 47.7 hours per week, men only at 47.3, according to that; whoever made the graphic mixed up the numbers, possibly intentionally, because there are some other misleading parts in there (like contrasting 41.7 paid hours for men with 33.1 unpaid household work hours for women the way they did, not sure why they did it, makes it look like women work significantly less although it's not the same metric). And your other thing, "Meritocracy is genderblind". Yeah, no. Ideally it probably should be, but that's not the way it's usually applied. And it ties into the wage gap argument, as well as education choices linked, again, to pressures + expectations from society.
More on this, clearer than that graphic imo: John Green | John Oliver (although these things are never complete or absolutely "neutral")
If you feel like you want/need to talk more about this, please reply in an old giveaway of mine - I'm closing this thread, since the giveaway is over and that's what the thread was for (also, it's now March 9th, a regular day on which to reflect on these + countless other issues, pertaining to women, men, and everyone in between, anywhere in the world, and possibly take action)
