I did that earlier and had a nightmare, sadly. I love dreaming. I only ever feel happy when I dream because all of my dreams usually just consist of me being around my friends.

I'm so sorry you are having a bad day. I can sympathize. Just today I opened a thread on Steamgifts, and there was no giveaway - just a sad story.
But! Today my boss came in from out of town. And he gave the green light to new renovation projects, which will enhance our profits next year. I am excited!

I like it when I thwart my cat by waking up before it stabs me in the eyes with its claws. I like it when I make a painting that doesn't suck. I liked it when I sunbathed with some friendly lizards last month and watched a peregrine falcon scare some really annoying seagulls. I really liked it when Aston Villa got relegated earlier this year. I was very happy when Wales did better than England in Euro 2016.

walking in the woods at the very early lights of the morning, is very relaxing
let's not consider wild boars and horse shit... it's all part of the adventure

I wish I could help :( I hope your situation improves. I'm in a pretty bad spot in my life myself so I simply try to take things one at a time. I live by the minutes, not days. My main stress release is my dog, I play with her a lot if I feel extremely upset or I just squeeze her a little and give her treats for enduring my endless squeezes. Animals in general soothe me as well. Playing Abzu and swimming with all those wonderful fish made me have this incredible smile on my face the entire time.
I try to look forward to little things. For example if mom said she is gonna make something special to eat, that special meal could be something simple like spinach, I'll look forward to that all day. It'll be my reason to hold on to life. This could be a game or a video as well. For example right now I'm so focused on Illidan plot in upcoming WoW Legion that the rest of my worries seem like a blur, not resolved by any means but feels like they are in the background. A great song or music can totally improve mood as well. I just put on some Radiohead and sing like mad if I'm in a bad mood.
Last but definitely not least, chocolate! It really makes it a tiny bit more bearable for me.
I wish you the best in life, I hope you find the happiness you seek, we all deserve to have it. Please take care of yourself.

Rereading a favourite book (normally Harry Potter), listening to some music (my go-to is Disney, Queen, the song Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go, etc.) or audiobooks, and watching some of my favourite youtubers. I also look up bunny pictures/videos when I'm sad.
Going outside for even a few minutes normally helps as well, getting some fresh air and just relaxing.
Hope tomorrow is a better day for you and that things start to look up. :)

if everything fails try talking to some1 you trust or like and he/she has some spare time (i just finished my session with a friend, at least i think i can call her that, and we even talked about boobs, some gossips and other dirty stuff-its good to have ppl to talk with about stuff)
life sux, i know, but there are times it doesnt, i try to stick to these times as hard as i can
and the best thing i can think of is to go for a trip to the mountains with friends, by foot or with bikes (but only at weekends or holidays)

Remembering how terrible my first breakup made me feel while also seeing how time actually did heal the wounds and overall knowing that even some of the shittiest things that can happen to you in the end make you stronger and teach you a valuable lesson about life.
Thinking of the bonds I have to certain friends that will likely last forever and I'm fairly sure that I'm not being too naive there. I got real lucky with those things.
I also think the internet made it possible to always find like minded people so you probably don't have to feel alone.

I've been having a really rough time recently.
If you don't mind, could you tell me some of the things that make you happy? It can be anything from nature to movies to art to your friends.
Just be honest if you respond, please.
