A friend of mine once injected 4 marijuanas and he passed away. RIP in peace man.
My thought though? 420blazeitfaggot.
On a more serious note, I couldn't care less. Legalize it, don't. Whatever, people smoke anyways. Besides I've never seen a violent pothead. Alcohol, on the other hand is not only a danger to yourself, but also to others.

"Alcohol, on the other hand is not only a danger to yourself, but also to others."
I know what you're trying to say, but pot can be a danger to others as well. DUIs can be for driving while drunk or driving while high, and both cause many fatalities.

This is very true although if I had to drive with anyone it would be the guy who was a little high, I rather not though, but alcohol and cars is a tad bit more dangerous.
But yeah both should be illegal(driving under any influence that is.)

Dude, come on. I love herb just as much as the next person, but there's no valid reason for operating heavy machinery at high speeds while you are stoned. Driving "under the influence" is exactly that, whether it's pot, alcohol, or otherwise.
Edit: (and trying to argue against it doesn't help our case)

I used to smoke weed all the time and my friends all still do. I can tell you first hand it does nothing to your motor skills. It can if its one of your first times smoking, but after that it does nothing except maybe make you drive even more carefully because you have weed in your car.

And I repeat: Dude, come on. I love herb just as much as the next person, but there's no valid reason for operating heavy machinery at high speeds while you are stoned.
Seriously, think about what driving actually is (instead of what you or your friends have been capable of doing while high in the past). Weed is awesome, but driving under the influence of anything is entering the territory of "infringing upon the rights of others." Any argument otherwise is pure narcissism.

I disagree. Driving while high is just as dangerous to yourself or others as driving after you drank a coffee or just smoked a cigarette. If its one of your first times getting high, then it could be dangerous, because my first time felt like I was tripping on acid. Everything was moving and I couldn't walk straight. It was intense. But after that it it was much more mellow and my senses stayed normal and driving was if anything more careful because I knew I was high and didn't want to get a ticket. The first time I smoked a cigarette I actually got high so should it be illegal to drive if you have recently smoked a cigarette? Driving high off weed is much different than anything else. I do agree with you that under the influence of other illegal drugs, pills, or alcohol is wrong, but not weed.

If you cannot understand the selfishness of your assessment (which is based solely on personal experience), then I do not know what to tell you. It is not very difficult to be a decent person, but it does require a modicum of effort.
And I'm going to have to say LOL @ your comparisons. I'm not sure what dirt you're puffing, but if the effects were remotely as weak as coffee or cigarettes, there is absolutely zero chance that I'd be vaping daily.

Agreed, but I was talking in a normal situation, as in, I've never seen a violent pothead or being reckles while walking on the street. Drinking under the influence of any substance is always dangerous and a sign of poor judgement. But again, I agree with you. That's probably the only case in which I'd say that it could pose a danger to others.

Tried many times, didn't like or dislike it (nor did it have any considerable effect).
My ethic opinion is everybody should be able to freely smoke it with the same limitations as cigarettes. Personally, cigs annoy me more than cannabis because of the smoke - cannabis smell I can bear more easily.

A lot of things but i wont get into it. The talk about cannabis is similar to the religion ones. Pointless.

I'm 15 at the moment, I want to smoke but not yet. I'd probably smoke it when it is legal. I mean honestly it isn't harmful. So there is no wrong in smoking pot time to time.

Research begs to differ with you actually. The 15 year old is correct. It looks like you've fallen victim of the drug war propaganda. Research studies show no harm comes from it and its not addictive at all. You can get mentally addictive to anything, Steamgifts, cheeseburgers, WoW, football, etc, but you don't see people making those illegal. Weed has no addictive properties to it at all. Coca Cola is way more addictive seeing as how it actually has addictive chemicals in it. The only harm it can cause to your body is to your lungs by smoking it. Vaporizing it or just eating it in edibles is the best route. Its actually proven to hve many many health benefits. Look it up and educate yourself.

When people make the argument that it isn't harmful, they're usually doing it from a context that 1) it would be consumed by adults, and 2) that the "harmfulness" is relative to things like alcohol and painkillers.
But cannabis is still a psychoactive drug, meaning it crosses the brain-blood barrier. If your brain is still developing, and if you're 15 it still is, then there is some decent supporting evidence that smoking can inhibit your development. Even worse is that cannabis can effect mental disorders, aggravating them earlier than they might appear and possibly worsening them. And it happens much rarer, but there is some evidence that cannabis, and other cannabinoids, can trigger drug-induced psychosis, which I can tell you as someone who has seen this happen personally, isn't something you want to experience.
All in all, weed isn't really that harmful, but if you're underage you shouldn't smoke, just in the same way you shouldn't be drinking or smoking cigarettes. Not like teenagers aren't doing all those things though, but there's so much goddamn bullshit surrounding the facts about marijuana since its illegal that we do a piss poor job actually explaining why young people shouldnt do it other than lies like "it'll make you permanently dumb and lazy"

But I don't smoke nor do I drink. I just play games on my ass and go to school, if it ever becomes legal in adult years I'd try it. Other than that I'll be avoiding it.

well then you're good! although there isnt much chance it still won't be a scheduled drug federally in the future, so legality will likely still be an issue when you're an adult. Although depending on what state you live it might be more or less of an issue.
Dual federalism! (is really stupid sometimes)
