Half Life 2 was the game I first owned on Steam. I hated Steam at first for forcing me to download a client to play a retail game.

Coincidentally, BL2 is my most played game on Steam, at 934 hours.
Definitely a good reason (in my opinion) to open a Steam account. :D

At first, I couldn't figure out which game you meant. Then it dawned on me (without checking your massive list of games, lol!). It seems to be high up there on a lot of peoples lists!
My highest number of hours played is in Clicker Heroes, but that was mainly idling while I was sleeping and whatnot. I haven't even loaded it up in several months...I wonder how much gold my heroes have accrued for me since then?;)
The Elder Scrolls: Legends is the next highest in hours played. I really enjoy that game, and I have not tired of it in the least!:)

Ohhhhhhhh I like TES: Legends toooo, but it dug deep into my pockets cuz I had no self-control hehh, so I had to stop it for a bitttt, and then so many expansion packs came out and I’m like what how do I get back in without buying all of it now TT

I bought a few things, but they were items I wanted, not needed.:) For example, I bought the Clockwork City expansion with real money rather than gold as I wanted the alt-art card and Title. I also bought the card backgrounds, the Madhouse collection, and the Forgotten Hero collection. The best part of it is that people aren't required to buy these things to win, they only purchase them if they want to (or help out the developers). With the amount of time I have in the game, I really haven't spent that much money, and I have not regretted a single purchase.
My in-game name is the same as my Steam Profile name, so feel free to add me as a friend in the game. I would love to challenge you to a match or two for fun!:)

My goshhhhhhhh, I only have a few tho it’s one of my fav (only) games I play. Cuz I like it so much, it’s my rainy day game, for when I’m feeling down, I’ll go back to play it for a bit, then be happy, then leave it for the next time, so barely have any hours on it hehh

My first Steam game was Dark Messiah of Might & Magic. Which is funny, since after creating a Steam account to install the game (November 11th, 2006), I never revisited Steam until I installed Wasteland 2 on August 17th, 2017). To be honest, I am thankful for purchasing a boxed copy of Wasteland 2 that day, since I would have missed out on a ton of games, a lot of good friends on Steam (I also have a few co-workers on my friend-list), and this site!
When I first came back to Steam, I figured I should make my Profile Private. That didn't last long, as I soon discovered that a lot of people prefer a person to have an "open" Profile so they can get a better idea of what that person is like (or even "open" just to friends). I missed out on a lot of the events from previous sales, and I hope they bring them back (at least in some capacity) for future ones. Getting cards just for looking at a queue is kind of boring, to be honest.

In honour of the Steam Spring Cleaning 2018 Event where it reminded me that the first game I purchased from steam was Garry’s Mod. I had no idea what the game was about and got lost inside it just walking around with that gman dude.
