:D Eigentlich im Gegenteil. Kann mich nicht mehr genau erinnern ob das damals auf MTV oder auf Vox war aber die einzigen Animes die ich direkt im Fernsehen gesehen habe waren Blue Submarine N° 6, Agentin Aika und ein paar Folgen der Nachfolgeserie Najica. Aber vor einigen Jahren waren zwei gute Freunde und ich total im DVD Sammelfieber und der ältere Bruder von einem der beiden hat sich auch gerne Sachen die bei uns schwer zu bekommen waren importieren lassen, besonders Animes. Haben uns gemeinsam dann auch ein paar ernstere Sachen angeschaut wie The Hakkenden oder Jin-Roh (auch wenn ich mir nicht mehr ganz sicher bin wielange ich durchgehalten habe). Beides bestimmt gute Animes aber ich persönlich habs lieber leicht :D

Yes is not as well known as Steins;Gates. I think there's 3 series in total, but I haven't seen the other one(I heard that it's not very good).
There's also Steins;Gate 0 that's supposed to air soon, it will cover the part of the plot that wasn't shown on the first season the bad future, but you should probably watch episode 23 β first.

well sorta... samurai x is the bloody part of kenshins story and rouroni kenshin is the non killing time after revolution.. furthermore the two have a bit of a difference in drawing style...

Cooking master boy (also known as Chuuka Ichiban) is Japanese. I think you're mistaking it for Chinese since the anime takes place in one of China's dynasties and the characters have Chinese names. It's quite confusing, I get it. :P
