What do you think about downloading a game without paying to the people who made it?.

In my opinion:

Piracy is OK is you can not buy original games (for example: you live in a place where's hard to get games, you don't have a credit card, etc).

Piracy is NOT OK if you can buy games without any difficulties and you still download games in an ilegal way.

What do you think about this topic?

It's been a long time since I pirated a game. I pirated Fallout NV, and after beating it I felt like shit, cause I didn't buy it (the best games shop is an hour and 30-40 mins of driving from my house, and they didn't have it) So I punished myself by buying Alone In The Dark, tin case edition, too, it was a few bucks over the standard price. Piracy is like chocolate; some overweight people eat it a lot and think they're in great form, and some cry after eating it. OK that was a screwed up comparison, I apologize, if I offended someone. Actually, when I'm out of money, I watch a playthrough of the game on Youtube.

SWIM use to be a dirty dirty pirate, with over 800 GB's of games. SWIM has now reduced that to 262 GB, only deleting from the folder when the game is bought on Steam or another platform. No additions to the folder in a couple years. One day SWIM's debt will be paid. One day...

Nothing bad happens when you pirate because piracy is different from stealing, it's wise to pirate to demo before you buying a game

I would only pirate to see if my game would run, I do not feel right pirating games and completing them! unless they are emulators!

I used to pirate all my games shamelessly, then it changed for no reason, now I don't play any game I haven't paid for.

I don't feel / pretend I'm a better person now, my state of mind just changed, now I feel more like I "own" the games, my pleasure to play them is increased.
