Can coupons be applied to a game on sale? (NOT on sale price, but main price?)

Hi all, I was wondering if it's possible to apply a coupon to a game that is on sale.

So, for example:

Conquest of Elysium is 60% off. I want to get a 90% coupon. Will I be able to use the coupon to get 90% off on the BASE price while it's already on sale?

Nope. Unless a coupon can be stacked with a sale, you can't use it at all. I've had problems with this myself in the past.

Aye. There are some coupons that do work with items on sale (i.e. they lack the words "Can't be applied with other discounts."), but its uncommon and its even more uncommon for it to go on sale while there's an active coupon.

The only one I've seen in a while was Concursion, which had a stackable coupon and went on sale briefly, before they took it back off sale.

Forge was a popular one, because decent sale and decent stackable coupon, and worked for the 4 pack.

Then it went free to play, and I still never played it.

on greenmangaming you can stack a coupon on an item that is on sale, i bought some game that was 75% off and added 20% coupon but it doesnt stack as if there was 95% off but it stacks that for example if price is 5$ after 75% off then you apply 20% off and get 4$ to pay.
