If you did it inside steam trade window, no.
If you did it outside of steam trade window, as in - you gifted him the keys for nothing, then yes, you get nothing.

ty archi, i guess in this case it wud me my loss! since i sent him keys first:( btw my cs go keys last week all vanished too, whole cs go inventory, but they came back in few hours, may i hope it wud be the same database bug, glitch or whatsoever it is?!

Possible, but it's also possible that your gift vanished because of payment problem, and in this case you simply got scammed. Let's hope it's just a glitch then.

Yes, although most common happen in 1 month since gift purchase, that's also why Valve enforces non-tradable gifts for a month after purchase.

Don't you get a message from steam when your game or gift gets revoked? It wouldn't just disappear without notifying you?

ok turned out that i sent one copy to the guy directly via steam and since my inventory was private then i just invited the guy so i can show him i have the game, and i don't remember how, but i guess i was playing BF1 at that moment so i sent the trade by mistake to him and yeah he got 2x Arma 3 and only paid me for one! can i have one on Gift History and one in Trade History log , and i'm sure t hat guy traded my 2nd copy for keys, and now he's playing a smartass and he says he only got one copy! funny thing is he even tried to get my DayZ copy for some keys he got from traded my 2nd Arma 3 gift?!!so he could take full advantage of the situation! OMG.

he admitted and even tried to give me a lower game value! and said he's only doing it caz he's generous! WOW! anyway i have everything recorded and if he won't make it right i will go to steamrep and make sure he gets what he deserves!

It was vanished because it probably got revoked. Maybe it's not even the other guy's fault, but he bought it from someone else too.

(check also your mail just in case it "somehow" got gifted > since a while now you get a confirmation when a gift has been accepted)

well ty for that, yeah i just checked mail, only one gift has been sent . still no news form the 2nd one, i'm trying to contact the buyer. he's farming cards atm i guess, maybe he got some revoke message or notification. and i'm pretty sure yesterday i had 1481 items in my inventory now one is missing!

I had something similar when steam trading was bugged on a trade and 3 tf2 keys disappeared for days. Try doing another trade within steam and this fixed mine. Keys reappeared trade was cancelled.

no i didn't get them back, caz i sent 2x instead of one copy as we agreed on trade with that guy, and he got the extra which i sent him by mistake. at first he denied but finally he admitted that he took advantage of my mistake and traded my gift for some keys thinking he can wipe evidence so easy and fast!

hey guys! i had 2x arma 3 gifts purchased from a trusted user(like +650 +reps) on sg like a year ago, last week i used only one of them for a trade, and i'm 100% sure i didn't do anything else with last copy, but today as i realized the 2nd one just vanished from my Inventory. so anyone knows what may happened or what can i do?! anyway to track what happened to the 2nd copy?
