Kayaking's pretty awesome. Haven't done river yet, just ocean beaches and a lake, but I like it since it's relaxing and a workout at the same time. Deep water scares the shit out of me though. (I know how to swim, but whatever might be in there -- including strong currents -- is a little frightening, and the idea of dropping something valuable in there is a fear I also share with heights.) But thankfully, it's not a paralyzing fear, I usually don't think about it, and the kayaking is well worth it! :)
