okay so it can be anywhere not a specific place. i thought it had to go to a specific place

It can be anywhere but make sure that the path has no spaces in it. Example: C:\TF2Server is alright, C:\TF2 Server on the other hand isn't.

I'm trying to setup a dedicated tf2 server, but I'm having trouble. i was looking up this to help but i don't really get it. I have steam cmd, but after that i don't know really what to do. can any one point me into the right direction or maybe find a simplified version of his instructions, thanks in advanced.
edit: we are using windows 7 and 8 and i can get pc specs if needed
