We have some topics about music but most things from there is in english. Propably people are afraid of putting music with foreign lyrics ;)
I'm always searching for some exotic music or movies and where to ask if not here as we have members from all around the world :)
And let's be honest, english doesn't mean it's the best so don't be shy and show some great tones

My taste is not so mainstream so sorry in advance :p

Skubas - Nie mam dla ciebie miłości

Lao Che - Dym

Classic:
TSA - Marsz Wilków
Dżem - List do M.
O.N.A. - Niekochana

En Berne

Les étoiles filantes

Les Cowboys Fringants are French Canadian, from Quebec, and I really love their lyrics and themes:)... sometimes really sad (love, death, sickness), sometimes more aggressive (singing against injustice or w/e).

thanks for the topic, OP! My favorite songs from the few languages that I've learned in my life.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_2Gtz-zAzM

(Pra não dizer que não falei das flores - Portuguese. This is a protest song composed during the worst phase of the brazilian dictatorship. Public playing of the song was forbidden by the Brazilian military dictatorship for years. The composer became one of the most hunted persons in the country.)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MB37oAxOkzA

(Volver a los diecisiete - Spanish - The original was composed by a chilean singer called Violeta Parra, but I actually like this version a lot more. Sosa's voice is perfect for this kind of song. This one was also used as a prostest song during Pinochet's goverment in Chile.

La Bohème - French. I don't know many modern french songs, but I love their old ones, like this one. It's a farewell to the last days of bohemian Montmartre.

I have a fair bit of non-english music, but no names jump out, I just tend to dump all my stuff in a shuffle playlist so it all blends into one at the end lol

I'm a fan of most of TATU's stuff, though they did a lot of their songs in English and Russian.
Shakira also has some great stuff, given she started out doing Spanish.
Marie-Mai (French) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRrltjVsvR0 Loved their show during the Olympic Closings in Vancouver years back
FLOW - Steppin' Out (Japanese) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-s8yPMf9tk Opening to one of my fav anime's

Thats all that comes to mind for now lol

It's just a swedish version of an english album, but it's amazing. Other then that, I actually don't know many non-english music. Some other songs of Sabaton and Tyr and that's about it.

EDIT: Forgot about Kreuzfeuer from Powerwolf. It's an incredible song. One of my favourite Powerwolf songs. Can't wait to see them live in August! \m/

its not the only thing i like, but those songs are part of my life
most of it is so called "austropop" - so 'yes' it is german, but it is in austrian dialect and some nativ germanspeakers might not understand it, so i include a small basic synopsis. most are morbid as fuck because thats what we like ;p

old but gold stuff____

(S.T.S - Großvater / Grandfather - How a granddad should be.. and wishing he could come down for a fast cup of coffee, to tell you so much i just now understand... )
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfHIRtAUuMM
(Hubert von Goisern, Die Alpinkatzen - Heast as net / Dont you hear it - how the time passes.. first try of an austrian to mix jodeling with newer music - also part of the lyrics ;) mainly about how time changes everything [its Hallstadt that you see in the background - so famous that the chinese built a replica-city in china.. lol..])

newer austrian music!____
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g1Yaflcg-yM
(Seiler und Speer - Stopp doch die Zeit / Stop the time - Summersong :D video is kinda morbid ^^)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWgisTPKCdk
(Seiler und Speer - Ham kummst / When you come home - about a girl threatening his partygoing partner with divorce :) very funny )
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWvwYfuoSzY
(Vearz feat. A.geh Wirklich?, Kreiml & Samurai - im Garten / In the allotment - 4 Viennese Rappers about allotments :D )
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmI2m06YFfc
(HMBC - Vo Mello bis ge Schoppornou / From Mellau to Schoppernau(2 cities) - Dialectsong about a drunken night :) very funny, very non-german-german ;D )

austrian music in english!____
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyrdPtEHKzE
(Falco - Out Of The Dark - ofc i got to add him :) he would be 60y/o last weekend. Lyrics are about getting onto heroin after a divorce)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BsAl6HVZ-Y
(Parov Stelar - The Mojo Radio Gang - love him... i would like to add 50 more songs :D )
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eco4z98nIQY
(Parov Stelar - Booty Swing )
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fkOqXAHLKQ

I mostly listen to non-english music so my list could be really big. My favorite genres are mainly old czech punk or hardcore/punk, so here is a list of a few of them.
